Le Cafe

Love this place, usually one of my favorite study spots. Leaving a review soley for the young guy that was working at the front during the time of this visit. This is my 3rd encounter with this employee and everytime, he sounds like he hates us, hates his life, and hates working here. It's never "hi", "hello", "what can i get for you", its always "what do you want" in the most irritable voice as if youre the inconvenience. The only time he is relatively not monotone or full of attitude is when he is speaking to the owner who is the sweetest, nicest, kindest lady ever. I ordered a beverage today and he asked me 4 times what it was again. I dont mind if I have to repeat my order, but 4 times is a lot. I also ordered budae jjiage (which is so so good, i recommend!) and he completely forgot to tell the owner to make it (waited maybe 30+ min before I decided to "remind him" simply bc i was tryna avoid speaking to this monotone man again.) Anyways, still love this place but not a fan of this guy. Its not hard to be nice or remotely patient with customers who are tryna get a mid-day pick-me-up. Sorry if this review sounds "karen-y" but thanks for reading. If youre the employee im referencing, and you recognize that this is you, it aint hard to be nice bro. To the rest of the staff, love y'all and thank you for your kind service!

The matcha here was good. A very cozy spot to work or study

Le Cafe has the best matcha in Ithaca that I've tried so far, definitely recommend it to anyone. The food menu is also very tasty and it is my go-to place for bites while studying. The boss is super nice and welcoming and the staff are also very friendly. Definitely recommend!

By far the best matcha I've tried in Ithaca! The strawberry matcha is so fresh and homemade. The staff make it right in front of you and are so kind.

Le Cafe has become an absolute favorite of mine! The strawberry matcha is what I tried first, and I was hooked! So tasty! The iced latte I got had a good coffee flavor as well! Finally stopped by to try the kimbap, it was made fresh to order, and was absolutely delicious! Prices are affordable, and the owner is a delight.
