Matin Et Soir
3645 Northgate Blvd, Sacramento, CA
Crema's Take
“Tucked along Northgate Boulevard, this newer Sacramento gem pairs impeccably crafted coffees with a showstopping French-inspired bakery, where house-made croissants like the pistachio supreme have earned devoted fans willing to drive across town. The thoughtfully designed space balances the cozy, lingering comfort of a European café with practical amenities—ample seating, parking, and wifi—making it equally inviting whether you're settling in with a laptop for hours or grabbing a custom cake for a special occasion. Reviewers consistently praise the clean, beautiful atmosphere and the care that goes into every drink and pastry, creating the kind of welcoming neighborhood spot that feels like a genuine discovery rather than just another coffee shop.”

What an amazing cafe! Absolutely stunning decor, comfortable seating, and perfectly crafted coffees and pastries. They even offer custom order cakes. I am so glad to stumble upon this gem to have afternoon coffee. I ordered a mocha and their tomato pastry which were both absolutely delicious. They are open later in the day, so this is a perfect space to visit after school or work. Very convenient location to the freeway. You will love Matin et Soir!
It was nice to find this hidden gem. I was getting my tire fixed at Les Schwab and wanted something to eat and it’s right across the street. Has more to offer than a Starbucks and I’m all about supporting a small business and it’s cute inside!
I love a good bakery and found one here. I tried a few of their items but the one that did me in was the pistachio supreme croissant. It was dipped in what looked like a pistachio chocolate but inside was this delicious pistachio cream. I think it was $5 for it and well worth the price. I also tried their kid candy chocolate cookie, a pastry frank and a red velvet cookie. I enjoyed all of the food although the red velvet cookie was too crunchy for my taste (but still very good). I intend to go back again to try some more of their food and hopefully their coffee.
Hello everyone! I recently took my first trip from Concord to Sacramento and visited Matin Soir Coffee Shop. It was absolutely worth the drive! Everything was halal, the atmosphere inside was clean and welcoming, and the staff had such a positive and friendly attitude. The prices were also very affordable, which was a pleasant surprise. Overall, I had a great experience and will definitely be coming back again. If you’re in or near Sacramento, I highly recommend supporting this business — it’s truly a hidden gem!
I always have a sweet tooth and bakery are my places to go. Matin et Soir open recently on Northgate blvd and someone recommend them to me. I tried croissant and a strawberry donut. For Togo I got a slice of triple layer chocolate and a slice of green tea mix berry cake. Both were yummy. They have a nice dine in area as well to catch on some work, have a sip of coffee or expresso and try something light but sweet. Prices of coffee and expresso are $6-8 and a single sweet item are between $3-6 If you are in the neighborhood, stop by and try something new.
