Crema's Take

Tucked in Solana Beach, this independent gem goes far beyond coffee with a fully gluten-free menu that doesn't compromise on flavor or creativity—think aioli-laden breakfast sandwiches, fresh protein plates, and lemon bars that have earned devoted fans. The kitchen clearly takes pride in both their coffee and unexpected pairings like Brussels sprouts and burgers, with consistently generous portions and warm service that keeps customers coming back despite occasional stumbles. It's a rare spot where people forget to photograph their food because they're too busy enjoying genuinely delicious, thoughtfully-made meals.

The food is ALWAYS delicious! We love this little gem! So happy to have found it! On this particular visit we shared a burger, Brussels sprouts and a lemon bar. ALL GLUTEN FREE!! Seriously the best kept secret! And the service is outstanding! Ivy was helpful to guide us on our decision-making (because everything is so good!!) and we laughed at the once mini cupcakes (they only serve regular size now, as it should be!). 🥰 And on my last visit, Hannah was super helpful! Everyone is always so kind and friendly, and the best customer service!

Food was so good and delicious, we forgot to take pictures. We had their coffee and smoothies as well as their pastries to try. The breakfast Sammie has a delicious aioli that made the sandwich even better. The chicken and waffles were so good and waffles had great flavor. My family also tried the Carne Asada fries and the meat was so good. We will definitely try it next time we are in town.

After deciding to give Nectarine Grove another go (had a previous negative experience at their other location), I was more than pleasantly surprised. The portion sizes and service were beyond amazing at this location, evident through the vibrant atmosphere! Highly recommend the eggs benedict as well as their healthier treats — the paleo banana muffin and vegan magic bars were so tasty. The carrot cupcake was on the dry side but still so glad I gave this cafe another chance. Would definitely recommend stopping by!

I have to give kudos to gluten free breakfast restaurants. This one is very nice. I ordered the protein plate and kids pancake. The food was excellent and tasted fresh and healthy. Not overly salty. The turkey sausage looked maybe like they might be making it themselves, it was fairly tough however, but tasty. The high table i was at was a bit shaky so my coffee spilled when i started sawing through stuff. Other that, a nice dining experience. They also have gluten free pastries and I ordered a cinnamon roll. It was great. I'm glad I don't live too close to here otherwise I'd get addicted to their sweet treats.

Had the best experience eating here. So grateful to have a completely gluten free place to eat! Such a nice relief, thank you!! We tried so many things - regular meals, kid meals, desserts and loved them all. Would absolutely come back again. We were visiting from out of state. I wish they had a location in my home state! Im gonna dream about that peanut butter brownie 🤤We look forward to coming back again in the future.
