Crema's Take

Brick Road Coffee is a calm, welcoming spot in Mesa where you can settle in for hours with genuinely excellent espresso drinks and creative seasonal specials like their beloved Lavender Revolution Iced Latte. Sharing space with Empower Roasters and backed by nearly perfect reviews, it strikes that rare balance of being serious about coffee quality while keeping prices refreshingly affordable and the vibe relaxed enough for work or lingering conversations. Their pastries, though pricier, are worth it—especially if you're a decaf devotee looking for something that actually tastes like real coffee.

Great coffee shop with ample seating, calm vibe and affordable prices! I had the Lavender Revolution Iced Latte and it was delicious. Wi-Fi seems good.

Today I found myself at Brick Road Coffee in Mesa. This is one of two Brick Road locations, sharing space with Empower Roasters. I ordered my customary cappuccino, a bit dry, in a mug, and Brick Road delivered as promised. The roast was earthy and smooth, with hints of nut, and spice. I don’t believe the bean was arabica, as it lacked the bold flavor forward I would expect. Regardless, the roasting was on point. When seated, you can’t help but notice Brick Road is all about community. I sincerely appreciated their willingness to lead with their social conscious in an increasingly polarized society. While the cappuccino was fine, I was pleasantly surprised by my next option, a sugar cookie chi latte, which I ordered dirty. This was simply delish, and I tip my hat to the barista. Should you find yourself in Mesa AZ, I suggest you make a stop at Brick Road Coffee, pick up a LB of dark roast, have a seat and enjoy.

Very poor quality food and coffee. Over priced and gross. I just threw it away. If they spent more time focusing on the products they’re selling rather than preaching “woke” ideology they might be an ok place to go. Lots of art work encouraging violence and hate. Good thing there are plenty of mental health services posted. I would not recommend this place.

We really don’t hope to offend your location, we are fans! This was our first time ever trying and visiting. The coffees we cherish, although we’re asking to be contacted in regard to the two Bagel Sandwiches we purchased today. We don’t want a refund for the coffees, but the sandwiches are not edible- we truly believe it’s just a mishap and not a reflection on your business!!! Happy to update to 5 Stars or remove the review upon reading and responding. Thank you so much for your understanding

REALLY good coffee here, the best decaf I ever had. And their pastries are a little expensive (4.50 for this vegan raspberry croissant) but it’s soooo good. Great place to sit down and get some work done, there is a ton of space. Dog-friendly front patio
