Crema's Take

Nestled on Madison's town square, this Colectivo outpost strikes that rare balance of being both a serious espresso destination and a genuinely welcoming third space where you can linger for hours without feeling rushed. The cozy, unhurried atmosphere pairs beautifully with their standout creations like the peppermint fluff latte and caramel apple matcha, while their thoughtfully prepared food—featuring notably excellent bread—makes it easy to justify settling in with a laptop or meeting a friend. It's the kind of place where both the coffee craftsmanship and the warm, attentive service feel equally important to the experience.

The atmosphere is cozy and not loud, the staff is very polite and helpful, and the peppermint fluff latte is delicious. It’s not too sweet or too bitter and I got it iced. They were able to make the hot cocoa not too hot for the kids and we found a seat right away. Also, the prices are affordable and fit the drinks perfectly.

What a stunning spot. Got here as soon as they opened. Lots of seating. Caramel Apple matcha (hot) and avocado toast with fried egg (the bread is ridiculous, the peppers on top really sent it up a notch and the fried egg for more protein!). Delightful.

One of the nicest coffee spots in Madison. Decent coffee, good flavours and food. Service is nice, but the ambiance is what gets me. Pretty nice to get a warm or cold beverage at a cozy place, and do some work while enjoying nice music.

Very busy on a Saturday morning. Outside line was long while inside was a little shorter. Worth the wait because this Colectivo Coffee location serves an OUTSTANDING cup of expresso with a very bold flavor. The Cowboy cookie is also worth purchasing. It contains oats, coconut, pecans, and chocolate bits. Friendly staff and nice interior.

This place doesn't need my review to do well. Ordered the chicken bacon avocado melt with a mocha for $18. The sandwich came with a bag of regular kettle chips. The sandwich was delicious and popped with flavor. The mocha was pretty much perfect. The chips were salty potato goodness. Service is generally warm and attentive. A dependable cafe with light breakfast, baked goods/pastries, drink options, and space options.
