Crema's Take
“Surry Hills Coffee is a thoughtfully curated Miami gem where every detail—from the intentional design to the perfectly balanced, espresso-focused drinks—reveals the owner's passion and international coffee experience. Beyond exceptional coffee, they excel at creative signature drinks like their lavender cappuccino and fresh, beautifully plated food that makes lingering over breakfast or a laptop session feel like part of the experience rather than an obligation. The calm, confident space and genuinely kind staff create an atmosphere so memorable that visitors find themselves present in the moment rather than documenting it.”

Delicious fresh and eclectic choices. The avocado toast had a perfectly soft boiled egg and a delightful little peanut/pumpkin seed seasoning. The iced green tea matcha was also refreshing. The people are kind and helpful. I didn’t see any employees on their phones. Will come back when I’m in Miami again.
Surry Hills was so memorable I barely captured any photos or video, I just wanted to be in it. The space is calm and confident, and you can feel how intentional everything is, inside and out. Even the tiny things are dialed in, like the soap and lotion in the bathroom, and the specialty dog treats that make it feel genuinely welcoming. They’ve been recognized by The World’s 100 Best Coffee Shops, and once you sit down, you get why. Now the food and coffee. Their coffee is perfectly dialed in, smooth, balanced, and consistent, the kind of flat white that tastes like someone actually cared about ratio, texture, and temperature, not just speed. The almond croissant was flawless, soft and gooey inside, with that crunchy almond top that gives you the perfect snap in every bite. And then the savory stuff surprised me in the best way. The avocado toast has that super satisfying crunch and texture, and it tastes like a real Australian brunch plate, not the watered down version. The quinoa salad with chicken was a wow too, hearty but still fresh, with edamame, greens, seeds, and that dukkah vibe that makes it feel intentional instead of just “healthy.” They got it all right, the coffee, the food, the details, and the energy. One of my go-to coffee shops/ cafe in Miami. I love that their coffee is strong yet well balanced. Their food is plated beautifully and tastes phenomenal and fresh. Everyone that works there is kind and helpful. I enjoy that they often change their menu by highlighting new and different drinks/plates.
First visit here and thoroughly enjoyed the ambiance, service and food. Met the owner, Francisco and had a nice convo on the other locations in Argentina and Spain. The lavender cappuccino was perfect. The tuna melt was very good! The turkey croissant with lime was scrumptious. Looking forward to our next visit. 2nd Visit: enjoyed a lavender/vanilla cappuccino and the egg/sausage sandwich. Both excellent! 3rd visit: Enjoyed the protein bowl and a lavender/vanilla cappuccino. The only issue with this place is they don't have a location within walking distance from my home 😅.
I found this little spot while doing patient visits in the area. I had 30 minutes and wanted to grab coffee from a smaller business. Everything about this place is just right. The staff are friendly, attentive and helpful. I ordered their coldbrew on the rocks as I needed to experience orange zest and nutmeg in coffee. I also asked about their quick GF options and they guided me towards the fritatta! Both options were worth ordering. The cold foam on the coldbrew is thick, fluffy and rich with a hint of sweetness. The scent of the orange zest and nutmeg as you sip somehow sweetens the coffee (even though there is no sweetener). The cold brew itself was smoothe and rich. Do NOT drink this from a straw, you have to sip from the cup to get the perfect balance from the nutmeg/zest, the coldfoam snd coffee. I promise you, you will thank me later! Now, onto the fritatta: she's a thicc girl. Wholesome, savory and well balanced. I couldn't have asked for a better 'on the go' breakfast option. If you have gluten allergies, this is your friend! All in all, HIGHLY recommend.
