Lady Ray's Culinary Delights

I brought my mother, daughter, sister, and niece here on New Year’s Day for afternoon tea. It was absolutely delightful!!! The sandwiches, scones, tea, pastries were absolutely amazing and Rachel is the loveliest person you’d ever meet. She was so communicative and accommodating (we had one guest with a Gluten allergy). I can’t say enough about our experience from first email to the wonderful afternoon tea itself. I’m bringing my ladies group from our neighborhood in February. They will love it!!!!

Lately, I haven’t been that big on sweets. It has to be really special for me to be willing to use up my calories. But my husband had been here before and insisted I try something and OMG… EXCELLENT doesn’t even begin to cover it. We had the Sticky Bun Croissant (topped with buttercream icing and a caramel-y, slightly hardened bottom) and—> HELP JESUS. That thing is PHENOMENAL. Like… immediate silence once we started eating. We also grabbed a slice of the 15-layer chocolate cake (layers of cake, chocolate ganache, and chocolate mousse) and it was straight-up fantastic. Even the bottled drinks were great—I had a sparkling pink grapefruit drink that was really good. My husband previously had the carrot cake bread pudding and still talks about it like it changed his life. Everything… and I mean EVERYTHING we tasted was nothing short of amazing. We literally went back 20 minutes later to grab something to bring to my mother-in-love who lives in another state. That’s how serious it was. They also have a few celebratory alcoholic beverages if you’re grabbing items for a party, event, or special occasion. And they make beautiful baked goods for events too, so definitely check them out if you’ve got something coming up. Lady Ray’s also offers tea parties! You do need to book in advance, but the setup was so intimate, elegant, and cute. I didn’t take a photo of the party while it was happening, but I was genuinely impressed. Such a fun idea for a girlfriends’ outing. And Lady Ray herself? Absolutely beautiful, both inside and out. Her friendly demeanor, great sense of humor, and service-oriented heart make you want to come back again and again. If you’re anywhere near Lady Ray’s, I highly recommend stopping by. Your taste buds will thank you!

Everything here that we had was good. This is one of the few dessert places that deserve five stars. If you’re at least an hour away, I recommend coming to try several of the desserts. I had the carrot cake, bread, pudding, and croissant. Cinnamon roll thing and they were amazing. Great find near Target. The baked goods were lovely. I'll be back for those. The chicken salad croissant with small but very good sides of coleslaw and pickles was delicious. The menu had quite a variety and I look forward to going back. I bet the 'Tea' experience is awesome.

While on the hunt to find the perfect key lime pie for my wedding we found this absolutely amazing spot. We visited to pick up our pie and had some cafe sandwiches as well, and WOW, absolutely amazing. Not only was the pie and the sandwiches THE BEST, lady Ray herself was great! Her customer service and very sweet personality won us over. Highly recommend this place for the best sweet treats and sandwiches !!
