Crema's Take

T-Swirl brings authentic Japanese crepes to Temple City with a level of craftsmanship that regulars swear tastes like the real deal from Japan itself. Beyond their signature crepes, they've built a cozy neighborhood spot perfect for lingering over matcha chocolate truffles or creative seasonal flavors, where the genuinely warm staff makes families and solo visitors alike feel welcomed. Late hours and a menu that spans from indulgent brûléed creations to delicate pastry pairings make this a favorite dessert destination for both a quick sweet fix and those unhurried afternoon hangs.

I came in for my first time yesterday, and I got the crème brulee crepe. The skin seemed overcooked. The brulee portion was very tiny. I also got some caramelized apples and mangos, although there were literally just like two pieces of each. Not what I expected. I've had better crepes, both in LA and in Paris. Regardless, I wouldn't mind coming back to try something else on their menu.

The most delicious crepes that you will ever eat in California. If you have tried authentic Japanese crepes (in Japan), these taste exactly the same!! All of the staff is super friendly and their service is quick.

Holy Crépe! It’s raining cats n dogs today. But no worries we have T-Swirl. lol Let’s begin this dessert review. T-Swirl Crépe is a Japanese crepes franchise that offer the finest crepes in America. This location is at a large plaza in Temple City. They have the freshest ingredients and all are Gluten-free! Also, they have smoothie and milk tea. It was my first time here and perused their vast list. I had a mini Berry crepe and it taste good. For me it hits everything from the light sweetness to texture to flavor. Service was modest. Staff were competent. Prices were fair that match the quality. Atmosphere was relaxing. Vibe was okay. Seats were comfortable. Overall, I enjoyed my Japanese crepe. I recommend you visit. I shall return.

Strawberry Banana (mini) Sweet banana with a tangy strawberry kick Matcha Chocolate Truffles Crunchy chocolate shell, soft matcha inside, with a few fresh strawberry bits on top. 🆕 Strawberry Cheesecake Crepe (with Italian strawberry gelato) Light cream-cheese & rose-yogurt filling in a warm crepe, plus cool strawberry gelato—perfectly balanced and not too heavy. Spicy Crabmeat Savory Crepe Big chunks of fresh crab and veggies with a mild chili kick—huge portion, so I boxed up the leftovers. Drinks Dragon Nebula: Pretty pink-purple dragon-fruit drink, tastes lightly fruity. Mangocado Nebula: Creamy mango-avocado smoothie everyone kept refilling.
