Bohemian House of Glendale

Ordered a large cappuccino and honestly felt like I was just drinking hot milk. No coffee taste at all. Not even close to a proper cappuccino — it didn’t feel like there was even a double shot in it. I went back to the counter, returned the coffee, and explained that this was not drinkable. The owner was standing right there. And you know what happened? Nothing. No apology. No explanation. No offer to remake the drink. No refund. They just stood there silently and stared at me. This is not how a professional coffee shop treats customers. If you charge money for coffee, at least make sure there is actual coffee in the cup. And if a customer is clearly unhappy, the bare minimum is to acknowledge it. Completely disappointing experience. Won’t be coming back, and definitely wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone who actually likes coffee.

Visited the place this afternoon, and tried their einspanner. So good, and so many options. The staff was very friendly and helped me choose what I wanted.

Take Away Café in Glendale is a hidden gem! Everything we ordered—the salmon toast, bagel sandwich, and Nutella waffle with ice cream—was absolutely delicious and made with love. The staff was incredibly friendly, paying extra attention to detail and cleanliness, which made the experience even better. The warm atmosphere and top-notch food make this a must-visit spot. I highly recommend it and will definitely be back often!

My girlfriends and I were looking for a brunch spot in Glendale and let me tell you, this is a hidden jem!! Every single detail was thought through… from the cutlery, to the ambience, to the music, and to the food presentation. The food. Ohhh my God, the food! I got the mushroom sandwich, and added a fried egg on top, which I highly recommend. It was amazing! The coffee came with an adorable heart decoration on top and it was delicious. And the star of the show (drumroll)… The Dubai chocolate pancake. It was incredible!!!! I don’t think I’ve had anything this yummy in LA before. Definitely a shareable size. Definitely worth the calories. I will be back for this one for sure!
