Crema's Take
“Commodore Cafe brings a genuinely welcoming energy to Appleton with espresso-focused drinks that hit the mark, from perfectly pulled cortados to creamy cappuccinos made with quality Metric coffee. Beyond the solid coffee craft, they're creating a real community space with thoughtful touches like their butter board featuring homemade butter and local sourdough, making it equally suited for lingering solo or gathering with friends. The laid-back-but-bustling vibe and friendly staff make this feel like the kind of neighborhood spot worth returning to, especially if you appreciate both precision espresso work and a space that feels genuinely chill rather than precious.”

This is the best café to be in this space since Harmony. Cortado and double espresso were both perfect. The butter board with homemade butter and local sourdough is an incredibly fun shareable for a crowd.

Breakfast sandwich was fabulous. Iced latte was also good. Very nicely decorated. Music wasn’t loud. Inside didn’t have that greasy burnt coffee smell like a lot of coffee shops do. Great place!
Cappuccino was delish. Metric coffee used here is a plus! Bakery selection was MIA this morning… maybe it’s too early to tell. Cafe vibes here are definitely chill with the bustling cafe ambiance in the background. Plenty of seating upstairs.
