Crema's Take

Che is a Brooklyn gem where exceptional espresso, thoughtfully crafted food, and carefully made cocktails converge under the care of three passionate hosts who've created something rare: a true neighborhood gathering spot that feels like a second home. The intimate space strikes that perfect balance between cozy refuge and destination worth the drive, with a kitchen that delivers beautiful, inventive dishes that somehow manage to feel both comforting and exciting. What really sets Che apart is how genuinely the team prioritizes people—their hospitality isn't just polished service, it's the warmth of a place that actually cares about building community.

We live in Queens and drive to Brooklyn for Che. It is one of our favorite places for amazing food/drinks and cozy vibes. Tyler, Alex and Ariel are experts in hospitality - they stand out in a neighborhood filled with a variety of restaurants. It’s the perfect place for any time of day, breakfast, a mid day coffee or a nice dinner out with friends or family. Oh, and the wine selections are always incredible. There is always something new to try!

i love this place. truly a community first, homey cafe/ wine bar that loves people first but also puts so much care into their high quality food and interior. hospitality is through the roof and vibes are immaculate. takes me back to small quaint coffee shops in paris.

I absolutely love Che. It’s a second home to me. Alex’s espresso, Tyler’s food and Ariel’s cocktails have collectively changed me for the better. It’s very cozy at night on the weekends with all the candles and the nice music, and their coffee has set my current bar for what a good cappuccino is. There’s food whenever they’re open and all of it is so tasty. The French toast will cure you.

Che is the kind of neighborhood spot you’ll happily go out of your way to visit. The kitchen consistently turns out beautiful dishes that are familiar enough to feel comforting and accessible, but inventive enough to surprise and inspire you. Recently, I had some marinated torched cherry tomatoes that blew my mind. The porridge is a standout, and I would eat the Spanish tortilla with sweet potatoes any day. It’s clear that this team is having a good time creating together—the vibe in the place is friendly, relaxed, and cool. Go now and thank me later.

Lovely new addition to the neighborhood. I was thrilled to see this show up on google maps, as I have been on the search for some newness in weekend breakfast options. Even though it is a small space. They are able to seat about 12 people comfortably indoors. They do have outdoor seating, but it was raining the day that I went. Service was great, you can either order takeout or take a seat and someone will come and give you menus. Based off of other reviews and recommendations- We ordered the egg sandwich, which was possibly one of the best egg sandos I’ve had….For being just an egg sandwich. I’m not sure if I remember all the components but brioche bun, soft scramble egg, pickled red onion, a little bit of spicy pepper, arugula, and crispy shallots or onion? There might have been a jam in there somewhere, anyways you should try it. Balance between soft/crunchy, savory/sweet/spice was yum. Even ordered one to-go for my partner and they also enjoyed it, even after the sandwich had journeyed 30 mins and was not warm anymore. We also ordered the Spanish Tortilla which reminded me of a quiche. The pepper jam was very good. And the olive oil cake was a nice treat, moist, not too overly sweet. Highly recommend, I love spots like this where they not only care about visual aesthetics and making sure the space looks nice. But they care about their food!! Lastly, we got coffee. They source their beans from Sey. Barista knows what they’re doing. ❤️🍳☕️
