Transit Tea
2645 E Speedway Blvd, Tucson, AZ
Crema's Take
“Transit Tea is a build-your-own tea concept that's converting even skeptics with their unexpectedly vibrant, thoughtfully balanced flavors—think bayou-inspired whites and yerba mates with actual depth instead of the flat taste you get elsewhere. This drive-through and outdoor seating spot has earned a fierce following for signature creations like their caramel macchiato and creative hibiscus blends that feel both playful and expertly crafted. It's the kind of casual, local spot where you can grab something quick but leave genuinely impressed by how good a simple cup of tea can be.”

I do not drink tea ever, but I found myself at the farmer’s market with a “Transit Tea” stand. I ordered a non-carbonated bayou with white tea. Needless to say it was the best tea I’ve ever had— light, refreshing, and just right on flavor. I highly recommend this place to anyone considering giving it a try. You will really enjoy the tea, I assure you.
I have been here 3 times now! I've never had tea like this before (except for boba milk tea), so I was nervous about what the experience would be like. Worse, I was worried that I would make people impatient by asking all my questions. However, each time, I've been assisted by a cheerful and patient person. Whether I need suggestions on which alternative dairy product to use or whether I should go coffee or tea based, I know that anyone I talk to is incredibly kind. Exceptional service aside, I haven't had a bad drink from this place yet. I don't usually like matcha.... it usually tastes so... powdery to me. But I tried the matcha strawberry shortcake and it is *chefs kiss*. Try this place out! You won't regret it! :).
We had to stop by here after seeing an ad on instagram! Their yerbemate is so yummy! Some other tea places the yerb just tastes so lackluster. I got mine sparkling with sugar free prickly pear and my man got the spicy mango still both yerb. I liked how there was a good amount of sugar free options since I try to avoid drinking my calories. The menu was very easy to follow with many different options. Around the same pricing for any tea shops in Tucson but I felt like it was more worth it. Definitely recommend and so worth it!
First time at Transit, saw the caramel macchiato on Instagram and had to have it! 10/10 chefs kiss, one of the best drinks I've had in Tucson and they are local! 💜 Also tried a kismet hibiscus tea, so good! Definitely stop in and try Transit!
This was a unique tea shop. It's a drive-through and an outside ordering seating area. No restrooms. No food. It was a build your tea drink spot. It's a pretty easy explanation, simple place. I ordered the hibiscus with watermelon flavoring (which I shouldn't have it over powered the drink). I liked the tea Latte, the oat milk substitute with lavender was very lovely.
