Crema's Take
“Tucked in Bellingham, this independent coffee shop wins people over with genuinely warm hospitality and staff who actually take time to chat through the menu with you. The pastries are a real draw—buttery croissants, delicate danishes, and creative savory options—paired with thoughtfully made drinks like rich hot chocolate and cappuccinos, all in a dog-friendly space that feels like a genuine community gathering spot.”

We had such a wonderful time at COF&. The young lady working the counter was authentically charming and took excellent care of us. The breakfast croissant sandwich was perfect, buttery, flakey, moist, and meaty. I don't drink caffeine so she suggested what turned out to be the best damn hot chocolate I've ever had. This place is low-key, counter service, bus your own tables, but for a quick and exceptional breakfast, I recommend it VERY highly! Great work you all. 💕
This place is definitely one of the best coffee shops around the town. We visited the place late evening around 4:20 PM and took our time to read through the menu and ask questions before placing the order. The staff was super friendly, and helpful. The place also had nice aesthetics to it, with a built in stage for music bands. We ordered Cappuccino Gold (Hot & Cold), and a Chai Latte. The Cappuccino Gold was made to perfection - the honey rim with almond powder gave it a pleasant taste. The store closes at 5 PM but the staff gave us extra time to leisure around and finish our coffee. Do visit the place when in Bellingham. P.S. They work directly with farmers to source their beans!!
We appreciated being able to have a hot beverage indoors with our dog. The hot chocolate was very chocolatey but got a bit chewy at the end because there was just so much chocolate! The cappuccino gold was the perfect amount of sweet!
My Kid (20), and I were so excited as we had reservations at The Hotel Leo for their Christmas Day Chinese Buffet. Without going into detail, it was easily the worst food we have ever had. And with how much it cost, livid doesn't begin to cover it. We left 15-20 mins after being seated. I signed the bill and we walked outside, ready to go home when we see a light, a beacon, in the darkness, or the rain, whatever. One of my favourite coffee shops, Cof& was open on a cold and rainy Christmas day. We jaywalked across the street and ran inside. There were several people already in there, families, friends, a toddler waving at everyone, and a dog in a raincoat to round it all out. I ordered the affogato and a cherry danish, The Kid got a hot chocolate and a chocolate dessert of some kind. Just being in there is a balm for my soul, but after that horrible food, it was more than that. It really was a light in the darkness. Any time I go there, everything is great, from the staff to the food and drinks, but after our very horrible and overpriced early Christmas dinner, it made it all the better. Thanks for keeping the light on (to bastardize Motel 6's slogan), Cof& it was much appreciated
Absolutely had the best experience. The pastries were delicious, I got the danish sweet cream and spinach puff pastry. And then got green tea. We went with a larger group and absolutely had the best time and service! The owner even took our photo. Will come back again.
