Crema's Take
“Nightingale is a family-run brunch destination where the husband's masterful kitchen work pairs beautifully with the wife's warm hospitality, earning it a reputation as Huntington Beach's best for breakfast and midday meals. Their menu shines with thoughtful dishes like perfectly cooked Coco Salmon and creative pancakes, complemented by house-made drinks like their standout lemonade, making it an ideal spot for lingering over coffee with friends or family.”

The best brunch in Huntington Beach by far! Family owned. The wife runs the front of the house. The husband is the chef running the kitchen masterfully. Highly recommend checking this place out. So much better than snooze.
This was my third visit, and unfortunately, my last. My friend had this place on her list, but the experience was a disaster from the start. We weren't even greeted; instead, we were immediately told they had a "full house" and were forced to order to-go. When we asked if we could wait for a table, we were flatly told no. We placed our order and returned 30 minutes later, only to find three other parties being accommodated and seated while we were still being pushed out. It felt incredibly inconsistent and, frankly, biased. After we finally demanded a seat, we had to unbox our own to-go containers and ask for plates. As for the food: • The Cambodian Noodle Soup: My friend ordered this, and it was a massive disappointment; completely lacked flavor. If you want authentic Cambodian food, save yourself the trouble and drive to Long Beach instead. * The Burrito: I stuck with the burrito because I knew what I was getting into. It’s fine, but certainly nothing special. The "vibe" here is not worth the poor service or the feeling that you’re being treated differently based on who you are. This place needs to get its process in order and stop prioritizing certain customers over others. Do not recommend
Everything on the menu sounds great. I had the Coco Salmon which was perfectly cooked and flavorful. Would love to come back and try the brunch menu and drinks. Staff was attentive without being intrusive or overbearing, so I thought the service was perfect
I got a DoorDash order, and it was absolutely delightful! I ordered lemon blueberry pancakes and farmers market fruit. Even though it was an order that had ridden around in a DoorDasher’s car for 30 minutes, it was still a 5-star experience. The flavor and consistency of the pancakes with the mascarpone and blueberry was perfectly balanced. I don’t even like mascarpone, and this was divine. This restaurant understands food presentation as an art. It was beautiful, and tasted just as good as one would hope.
Steak was over salted, and chilaquiles were what you would expect them to be given the establishment. Lemonade was delicious and would recommend, but strawberry lychee cocktail was a hard pass. The inside of the restaurant was very instagramable, and they even had someone playing the violing when we first arrived, very cute vibes. The tables are quite small given the size of the restaurant, so there is not much room on your table to be comfortable. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Overall, it's a very cute brunch spot with a great menu selection, I'll have to visit again to really give a proper rating of their food.
