Crema's Take

This is a classic neighborhood dive bar that's been slinging cheap drinks and strong pours since 1952, complete with a jukebox, regulars who actually talk to each other, and hours that extend to 2 a.m. on weekends when most other spots have called it a night. If you want an unpretentious, no-frills place where a bartender knows what they're doing and cash is king, Elm hits the mark—just don't expect craft cocktails or ambiance beyond authentic Americana.

What to expect

Classic coffee drinks done right. A slow-sit, outdoor seating spot, good for meetings. Open late. Parking available. Cash only.

Amazing bar. Great bartenders, interesting regulars. Only con was the overwhelming odor of vomit assaulting my sensorium. I am told this is temporary though, and will be returning when the odor has subsided. Perhaps next weekend.

One of the last neighborhood dive bars Since 1952, Frank Sinatra on the juke box and Crown Royal for the holidays.

You go there for a drink. Cash like god intended. Booze and beer the way the devil intended. You get what you want and they have what you need.

Absolutely the best dive bar in my area. It actually stays open until 1 am during the week and 2 am on the weekends. The bars in my town used to do this but it is a complete hit or miss now.
