Café Tolia
26 N 3rd St, Philadelphia, PA
Crema's Take
“Café Tolia captures that unhurried European café feeling right in Philadelphia, with a Parisian-inspired space that invites you to linger over espresso-focused drinks like their reliably excellent flat whites and cappuccinos. Their pillowy brioche breakfast sandwiches—especially the bacon, egg, and cheese loaded with mayo and ketchup—have earned devoted fans, and the warm welcome you'll receive from staff makes this spot equally perfect for solo coffee contemplation or meeting a friend on a snowy morning.”

Very lively atmosphere. The bacon egg and cheese on brioche was yummie! The bread was so pillowieeee! As a New Yorker, I loved that they added mayo and ketchup. My flat white was just right!
We were warmly welcomed on a snowy winter day and enjoyed our lunch. Their cappucino and lattes were delicious as well as their unique 3-berry muffin. The house specialty sandwich was tasty, but had more cheese filling than I like. Their turkey sandwich was delicious. The restaurant decor is contenporary cozy and there are lots of breakfast, brunch and lunch choices with vegetarian and vegan options. It was nice to see families and diners of all ages hanging out and enjoying the food and vibe there.
Caffè Tolia turned out to be a truly delightful experience, with an atmosphere reminiscent of a Parisian café thanks to its carefully curated décor. The place feels elegant yet welcoming, instantly making you feel at home. Breakfast options are excellent, ranging from classic croissants to more refined choices like yogurt and porridge, all of great quality. The oat milk latte was particularly good and added to the overall positive experience. The service is attentive, the location is great, and prices are absolutely fair for the quality offered. During the week, it’s also possible to bring a laptop, which makes it even more comfortable and versatile. Overall, everything was thoroughly enjoyed and the café is definitely highly recommended.
Nice spot for having coffee and breakfast in the morning, I love my breakfast sandwich egg&cheese on brioche bun add smoked salmon so yummy!! Price $$ , cozy and very nice staffs.
This restaurant is vey nice. And they serve a proper flat white. But the breakfast sandwich is very underwhelming. It definitely lack of taste. Which is a bummer. The egg in the sandwich just didn’t feel right and the portion of the bread for what you pay is not Waw. It somehow lacks of flavors.
