Playa Bowls - Dania Pointe

This playa bowls location is truly a blessing. The workers Jarvy and Daniella always provide excellent and quick service, are super friendly and hard working. It’s so close to my job too so i can just walk over whenever i’m craving an açaí bowl. The environment is always kept very clean too. Very nice place.

I just left today, February 15th around 4pm. The girl working at the register needs to work on her customer service. Blonde girl wearing a black hat. We ordered our smoothies and sat in front of the pick-up area to wait since it was a bit busy. I didn’t get her name but the girl never asked for a name with our order. I heard them say the name of our smoothie and as we began to get up, not even a minute later the girl at the front says “I don’t know where these people are.” Maybe if you asked for a name or brought the smoothies to the pick-up area we would have been fast enough for you. I work in hospitality/customer service and that was extremely rude.

Tried an Açaí bowl for the first time, and it honestly reminded me of a blueberry smoothie shaved ice! 🍧 I ordered the Pura Vida bowl, which came topped with strawberries, blueberries, honey, and granola. It was super refreshing and light—perfect for a warm day. The strawberries were a bit tart, but overall it was a really enjoyable treat. Plus, the place had a calm and cozy vibe. Definitely a nice spot to relax and try something new!

Playa Bowls is my new favorite go to for smoothies and bowls! Out of the many smoothie restaurants I've enjoyed, Playa Bowls is top tier. This Dania Pointe location was clean and I loved the chill yet vibrant decor. The young lady who took my order was friendly and efficient. The menu is so extensive and creative, surely there's something for everybody. I had the Booster Smoothie and it was delicious and nutritious!
