Crema's Take
“Java Point is a charming mom-and-pop hybrid where serious coffee lovers and surf enthusiasts collide in Huntington Beach, blending espresso pulls with vintage surfboards that line the walls. The genuinely warm staff—who remember regulars and love swapping stories—pair solid traditional drinks and fresh pastries with an unhurried, welcoming vibe that keeps people coming back for Sunday breakfast rituals and mid-week snack breaks. Fair warning: it's small and beloved, so you might find yourself standing with your cinnamon roll, but that's half the charm of this beachy community gem.”

Great little surf shop with the coffee shop inside as well. Lady working early this morning was super nice and friendly. Made a great coffee too.
A couple of my favorite things surfboards and coffee, i’m in. Delicious food and beverages served in a warm and friendly mom and pop environment. Fun staff that will share stories and brighten your day. I’ve been grateful enough to share time with friends out front for years and talk story. The point it’s always breaking, Java Point.
At Java Point is just crazy cool. This little coffee shop combined two of my favorite things: coffee and surf boards. In honesty I'm more a fan of the boards than the coffee! Also, you don't actually buy the boards from Java Point, but since it's located inside HSS (Huntington Surf and Sport) you kind of can't avoid them. Java Point offers a good selection of coffee and teas and it's currently my daughter's favorite place for chai. I'm not a big fan of chai, but she says it's one of the best in the area. They also have small pastries and may even do some lighter meals, think sandwiches and the like. Just be careful not to knock on the glass as it scares the donuts (iykyk). So if you need a cup of coffee and a light snack and love surf and the beach, head to Java Point. I think you'll like it. You can even take your coffee right across PCH and walk the Huntington Beach pier while you enjoy it!
Wednesday afternoon snack, cinnamon roll and a small drip coffee, $6.25 excluding tip. Service was prompt and friendly. My drip was warm, not hot, as sometimes happens when they add cream. Still it was tasty. Tables outside were clean, to enjoy a view of Main Street and the pier.
Love Java Point and we have coffee and breakfast bagels here every Sunday after riding our bikes along the HB boardwalk. The only problem is that there are never enough tables. We have to watch people like hawks so we can grab a table to relax for about 30 minutes before riding back to Newport. The coffee is excellent and service is always great! Salud.
