This happened to me the first time in my life. When i got there a group of 6 people just arrived the same time but in front of me. So I waited some 20 minutes, each one ordered pastries + drink. Finally, it's my turn and I said "Ru finally ready?" Then he said "If ur rude, u can leave", I said what is so rude me saying ru finally ready? He said I'm rude + he is not selling. Why? I was so furious but no choice to leave the place. Was I "rude" or because I'm an Asian? I've been living in U.S. more than 40 yrs and lived different States. I experienced racism in Ohio so I know when + how I treated as this morning. He can operates his business however he likes but what he did to me was unfair + unaccounted for. He knew how long I was waiting patiently and he could understand why I said what I said. He could say, sorry for the long wait but it's ur turn, what can i get for u... that was what i or any customer could hoped to hear from the store owner... Now, who was really "rude" one? This is my 2nd visit to New Orleans but I'll never return again, a bitter memory.
Fourth time in New Orleans and this pastry shop has the best beignets I’ve had in the city. They were warm and fluffy and covered in powdered sugar. Delicious! And the latte was good, too. Highly recommend.
Walkable distance from my hotel. So glad my coworker suggested this spot. The service was fast and friendly. The coffee was DELICIOUS… BUT THE PASTRIES are the star of this show. I tried the egg and cheese situation OMG delicious. The egg was perfectly cooked inside the pastry! So good, we will be here all week for breakfast.
Very delicious and very fast service! I ate here two days in a row because it was perfect for a large group. There is a large table for 6 people and outside seating. Everything we ate was delicious and freshly made. The pastries were a great snack and the sandwiches and beignets were perfect. They have WiFi so it is a perfect place to plan your trip or to grab a quick bite before going out on the town. I would recommend the muffins and a hot chocolate
Our hotel didn’t have any coffee so I went over to TM for a quick drink. I could smell the bakery even before I saw it. It was a very calm and relaxing atmosphere. I got a chai latte & a vanilla latte. The vanilla latte was great! The chai latte wasn’t anything too special. Overall a good experience. Quick and calm
