Press Coffee - Gilbert
355 E Germann Rd, Gilbert, AZ
Crema's Take
“Tucked into a Gilbert business plaza, Press Coffee is a bright, spacious spot that trades coziness for productivity—it's the kind of place where you'd set up your laptop for serious work or host a business meeting rather than linger over pastries. Their espresso-focused menu shines with pour overs and specialty drinks like their Iced Earl Grey Hibiscus, though recent reviews suggest consistency has become hit-or-miss with their latte execution. The clean, airy interior with soft music playing makes it feel more professional than intimate, but when they're on, their drinks and peaceful atmosphere justify the trek into the business park.”

Update: Sadly this place has fallen off… not sure what happened to the regular staff but I gave them 3 more trie and the lattes are still just milk. So bummed and won’t be coming back again. I love Press Coffee- but someone please train the new girl with red hair on how to make an espresso for an iced latte. It’s my 2nd time here this week and she made my iced latte both times - it’s just milk. No coffee flavor. Nothing worse than spending $6 on a cup of milk. Please and thank you! ☺️
Second time visiting Press Coffee. Press Coffee is situated in a business plaza so there is little competition and likely motivation to make improvemens. Let's begin by stating Press Coffee is understaffed thus ordering and receiving orders will take 10-30min. The young lady working this morning was working hard to stay ahead of the orders but unfortunately failed in her attempt. They ran out of food selections within 60min of opening so likely make most of their revenue via beverage selections. If you are seeking a $5-$7 beverage, wait 10+ minutes then Press will meet that standard. Can't say there is much special about Press Coffee to make it a stop in the morning, unless you have business in plaza and free time on your hands. Final thoughts: 2 ice coffees, 3 breakfast sandwiches, $34 (includes tip) and whopping 35min later I was finally able to leave. Perhaps its staffing related but other reviews also imfdicate there is an issue. "Hit or Miss" should be the title of this review. Recommendation: Sadly, would not recommend Press Coffee to friend or foe. The cost and time it took to prepare the five items I ordered was extreme. Additionally, the sandwiches we over-cooked and dry.
Definitely more of a business space than a cozy coffee shop. I recommend coming here for business meetings, to lock in on projects and presentations, or to have serious talks. Not exactly my vibe for the "cozy little coffee shop" but it gives a beautiful modern energy. The coffee was pretty solid-I got my normal iced Carmel latte. There were three people behind the counter, so speed of service was lightning quick. Solid place.
Random Google find for coffee this morning. Really wouldn't be able to find this if without Google as it's tucked back in the middle of a business park. The inside is open and spacious and allows for remote work with optional conference rooms in the theme of Seinfeld which is quite hilarious. The menu is short and concise but is more than adequate with really great flavors and a nice little muffin bar. This morning was quite busy here with close to 20 people but it never felt cramped cuz the space is quite open. The coffee was delicious and I could see myself coming in here again. Try the chai tea latte!
Beautiful and relaxing spot for a delicious beverage. ☕️ Building is very clean, nice and bright and has soft music playing. ✨ The Iced Earl Grey/Hibiscus and the Mocha are delicious. The conference rooms are all named after Seinfeld characters. The tables in the common area have USB ports and plugs. It would be easy to spend an entire afternoon here.
