Crema's Take
“This beloved Belmont Heights breakfast destination wins hearts with its warm, welcoming atmosphere and genuinely impressive food that goes beyond typical morning fare—think creative omelets and thoughtfully prepared dishes that justify the modest premium pricing. The staff brings genuine enthusiasm to every interaction, making it equally perfect for a solo coffee moment or a leisurely family breakfast, though arrive off-peak if you prefer a quieter, more intimate sit.”

A classic spot for an American breakfast. The food is very average. The quality is decent, but the taste leaves much to be desired. The place is completely packed in the mornings — quite noisy. Service is fast but not perfect, and there’s almost no atmosphere — very utilitarian: you come, eat, chat with everyone, and leave. I’m not a fan of places like this, but some people might like it.
Absolutely amazing breakfast spot in Belmont Heights! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was beautiful with great ambience — warm, welcoming, and just a great place to start your day. The food was outstanding, fresh, flavorful, and honestly some of the best breakfast we’ve had in Long Beach. Johnny truly made the experience special. His service was top-tier — incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. You can tell he really cares about the guests and takes pride in what he does. The entire staff was amazing, the energy was positive, and everything from the food to the service to the vibe was on point. This place is a gem in Belmont Heights and we’ll definitely be coming back again and again. Highly recommend! And try the lemon cake
10 Stars! We stopped by this place in between flights. The staff was amazing and fun. And we could not believe how good the food was. Seriously so good.
Would give this place 5 stars but they're kind of proud of their food. It's really good and the service was second to none. Just a bit pricey. The omelet casserole is a first for us and both my wife and I had it. Super customizable so you get what you want. I heard my wife bragging to a friend later about how good hers was. The potato pancakes were also super yummy. And it comes with a nice helping of super fresh fruit. We will definitely be back, but it won't likely be our regular breakfast stop due to the prices.
The Breakfast Bar is a causal breakfast and lunch spot popular amongst local. They’re located on The corner of Redondo ave. and E 4th street in Long Beach. I was greeted by a young female hostess and sat at the corner table by the window. Their menu has a breadth of food and drink items. Its interior decor was modern with an upbeat atmosphere. My adorable server, Trish, was assiduous and professional. For food, I ordered a Lemon Pancakes x scrambled eggs and avocado. And for drinks, I had coffee and oj. I liked my drink but not so much the food. However, my lemon pancakes were bloody dry and crumbled easily; eggs x avocado were good. Service was spot on. Staff were amazing. Prices were on the high end of its market value. Parking lot was unavailable but plenty of street parking. Overall, I think it a modest local breakfast spot.
