Crema's Take

Eucatastrophe brilliantly merges two passions under one roof: in-house roasted espresso-focused coffee and a surprisingly expansive used bookstore that rewards wandering through every nook. The baristas here are genuinely warm and knowledgeable, crafting everything from creative signature drinks to stellar hot chocolate, while the space itself—all mismatched comfortable seating, old-town charm, and that perfect aroma of roasting beans mingling with aged paper—practically demands you stay for hours. Whether you're meeting friends, on a date, or settling in with your laptop, this is the kind of neighborhood gem that feels like a well-kept secret worth sharing.

Cute bookstore with espresso options. Friendly staff. Lots of comfortable places to sit, some with tables, some just a comfy chair. It is much bigger with a lot more books than it looks from outside!

My new favorite coffee spot for girl gatherings and date nights. The atmosphere is so cozy and old town charming. The quality of coffee is so good and unique. All their beans are roasted in house and so much care is put into their ingredients, including their sourcing of local ingredients and supporting local farmers and businesses. I love supporting this business. The owner is a wonderful human being and I love blessing her family.

One of the better hot cocoa's I've had. It didn't taste like chocolate water. A really good selection of books and the girls there were the sweetest and most pleasant. And unlike my experience at a certain coffeeshop, the patrons have courtesy and are civilised.

The most delicious coffee and latte in town! Totally organic and a million sugar free options! Splendid book store, great barista, and the most friendly and peaceful atmosphere! Will definitely be coming back!

This place is the best. The smell of musty old books and fresh roasted (right there!) coffee beans. The very kind and knowledgeable barista. The assortment of books of all kinds, but with a focus on Christian books. Fresh baked sourdough. Nothing beats it! It’s a popular spot for a reason. Best coffee shop around, we always visit when we’re in town.
