Crema's Take

Soul N' Vinegar is a hidden gem tucked into a Richmond church space where the coffee pairs beautifully with genuinely exceptional food—think crispy-on-the-outside, juicy-on-the-inside tofu bowls and goat cheese-beet salads that'll convert even salad skeptics. The atmosphere strikes that perfect balance of cozy and intentional, with staff who are genuinely warm and willing to guide you through a menu that thoughtfully serves everyone, whether you're vegan or not. It's the kind of place that feels like a discovery, ideal for lingering over a slow coffee while you actually taste what you're eating.

This place got me to not just like salad, but love salad. The goat cheese and beet salad is awesome. My partner got the falafel wrap. Both were super fresh and good. Also enjoyed browsing the drinks and snacks available for purchase. We will most definitely be back!!

Why haven't I heard about this place. Its a spot in church. Although everything isn't Vegan its a good spot to visit for Vegans. Michelle was very helpful with explaining the menu. Nice portions for the price! I got the Falafel wrap and forgot the desert name.

Popped in for a quick lunch on a weekday and was welcomed by a friendly greeting and a sample of the berry focaccia bread which was delightful! I scanned the menu for a bit and opted to go with the "build your bowl" option. As a seafood lover I knew I had to pick the blackened shrimp as my protein on top of a 50/50 base of mixed greens and rice. I picked my 3 toppings and a couple of free add on toppings that was a nice touch to offer. I found a nice cozy spot, and after a short wait my bowl arrived. Everything was great! Super fresh ingredients, beautiful presentation in a standard fast casual disposable bowl. The portion was generous and everything was delicious. Will be back for sure!!

The tofu bowl was amazing. The tofu had just the right amount of crisp with the soft juicy inside. The flavors were already amazing, but adding the chili oil took it to the NEXT dimension. DEFINITELY will be revisiting!!!❤️❤️❤️ My sister had the falafel bowl and that too was amazing!!! Desert selections were delectable!! Raspberry shortbread, the glazed grapefruit and vegan cinnamon bread.

I love this place. It feels like a hidden gem. The staff are all very pleasant, the interior is cute and cozy, and everything I’ve eaten here has been flavorful and keeps me coming back. The shrimp bowl is 👌delicious. I love getting my bowls with the cilantro dressing and red cabbage slaw.
