Better Buzz Coffee - Del Mar

I’m here every week for my caffeine fix and the baristas here are always friendly and accommodating to my picky order. The location is beautiful and I enjoy walking to the park by the beach to enjoy my coffee and pastry. Love how they always have new seasonal offerings too. I don’t review places often, but this place deserves the love.

JOHN (about 6’2, brunette) is THE best!!! Came in Friday evening (the night before Valentine’s Day) and got a caprese sandwich. John gave a warm welcome and provided such a friendly interaction. Was definitely my favorite experience at a coffee shop. Made my whole day actually. Ended up getting a toffee cookie, too. Thanks John, hope you get the recognition and appreciation you deserve!! 💜

I’ve been a HUGE fan of Better Buzz for years (their caprese sandwich is THE BEST and the coconut buzz) but I had an especially fantastic experience at this location. John took our order and his friendly personality was such a breath of fresh air. He went above and beyond by offering us samples on several teas. I always feel like people deserve a shoutout when the service they give is exceptionally above average. If you come to this location, ask for John! And try the pistachio croissant 🥐

First time at better buzz. You know those coffees that instantly turn your whole mood around? Yeah, this was that. Ashley didn’t just pour a drink; she delivered an experience. The attention to detail, the care, the consistency everything about it reminded me why great coffee and great people make such a difference. It’s wild how one cup can set the tone for the whole day, but here we are. If you’re lucky enough to get a coffee made by Ashley, trust me, you’re in good hands. This one earned its spot in the can’t stop thinking about it category. Absolute top-tier energy, every single time. 👏☕

Great energy, environment and decor, coffee was excellent (the barista suggested half sweet and it was spot on).
