Crema's Take

Almost Heaven is a cozy Main Street gem where all-day breakfast and an impressive roster of creative drinks (matcha lattes, signature cold brews, and playful specialty concoctions) pair beautifully with seriously good pastries and brownies that lean fudgy and indulgent. The exposed brick and warm lighting create that perfect local coffee shop vibe where friends linger for hours, families feel welcome, and even passing travelers find themselves delighted by the thoughtful menu and genuinely kind staff. It's the kind of place that feels both polished and unpretentious—ideal for a slow morning or an afternoon sweet escape.

An adorable, cozy shop with a large menu of drinks, food, and desserts. Breakfast is served all day! The staff is kind and helpful, and the atmosphere is exactly what you want from a local coffee shop.

Such cute little bakery with so many delicious drinks and food options. Stopped while passing through to Morgantown and wanted something sweet! Definitely didn’t disappoint! Cookies and pastries are delicious and dragonfruit refresher was so refreshing and yummy! 😋

Loved the atmosphere here! Cozy little bakery with wonderful food offerings. The chocolate chip cookie was very good and my peanut butter brownie was borderline fudge. Too late in the day for me to get a coffee but the choices sounded amazing.

🛋️ Atmosphere: 4/5 This is a small, rustic coffee and dessert shop located on Main Street in Bridgeport. The interior has a cozy, laid-back feel with exposed brick, hardwood floors, and warm lighting. It’s a nice little place to grab a treat or coffee, but seating is very limited—just a few tables inside and a couple more outside along the sidewalk. It’s ideal for a quick visit or a casual meet-up on a nice day. ⸻ 👤 Service: 3/5 The service wasn’t especially welcoming. The staff didn’t say much and didn’t offer any help or suggestions. While the order was completed correctly and in a reasonable amount of time, it felt very transactional rather than friendly or inviting. ⸻ 🥪 Food & Drink: 4/5 I ordered the Avocado Sunrise sandwich, which came on toasted wheat bread with egg, herb cream cheese, dried tomatoes, and Swiss cheese. It was actually very good—fresh and nicely toasted—but the sandwich was pre-made, so you can’t make any changes or add ingredients, which takes away from the personalized café experience. For drinks, I had an iced caramel macchiato that was smooth, creamy, and had a well-balanced caramel flavor.

Looks like a nice spot with my family, but the wait was 45 min for a chicken sandwich, and it was not good at all. My wife got a smoothie, and it was average at best. But the cheesecake was very delicious though expensive.
