Meet Tea

Went to this milk tea place with my cousin after our trip to tj maxx that was in the same plaza. We both ordered the osmanthus oolong milk tea, mine with no ice and my cousin's with ice. When we tried it, it was not sweet at all and we both got 100% sugar. We asked the employee about it to make sure the drinks had the correct sugar level but he was adamant it was correct. He even told me my drink probably has an issue because I asked for no ice. Not sure why no ice would mean no sweetness at all but he was 100% confident that was the reason. He offered to add ice to it and re-shake it, which I declined because I felt the ice would just dilute the already "no taste" drink even more. He offered to make us a new one and my cousin tried it but also no sweetness. The employee then offered to let us choose different drinks for free. We declined since it was kind of busy in the store and if the new drinks were also bad, it'd be a waste of time. We figured we would just put sugar in once we got home. When I got home I realized there were white clumps in my drink and when I spooned them out to taste because I was curious what they were.... IT WAS FLOUR. CLUMPS OF FLOUR. There were more clumps at the bottom of the drink too... that's what the employee thought was sugar when he put it in to make our drinks. 2 stars instead of 1 because although the employee was frustrated with the situation, he was nice enough to offer new drinks and the food we purchased were good. I hope the owner sees this because someone should really look into what they're using as sugar.

Went here tonight and they did not get our order right. They didn’t put boba in one of the drinks. I guess it doesn’t really matter because the boba was chewy and hard. Definitely won’t be coming back. Go to wushi land, don’t come here!

Both of the drinks were good and pleasant to drink. And the staff was polite! We had fun with the crawing machine, haha! 1️⃣ Pineapple Mango Milkshake Would like to try a tropical-inspired drink today. Mango and pineapple always go so well together！ It was delicious and pleasant-tasting！Great refreshing summer drink！ 2️⃣ Ya Shi Xiang Aroma Milk Tea Ya Shi Xiang means "duck shit", this name is quite interesting！It doesn't dominate the taste. My friend likes it because it was pleasantly soft and light, the sweet aroma of "duck shit"and milk blended together, it made a delicate scent！ The water chestnut boba was a suprise! They levelled up the texture absolutely!

No matter which employee is working, staff always is rude and standoffish - the crazy thing is that, they only act a certain way towards certain people. Drinks are really good which is why I continue coming here but there’s always some hesitation because of the way I’ve been treated. Every time I wait for my drink you can tell the difference on how they interact with different costumers. Very sad, we’re in 2024 and I feel like what are we doing if we’re not treating each other equally. Again, drinks are good and the ambiance seems like a good place to drink your tea and do some homework but I’ll never feel comfortable enough to actually stay and do so.

Great place and very friendly staffs!! I really like their crispy tempura. It’s SO good, a must try! I had the Jasmin milk tea which is also very delicious. My friend ordered popcorn chicken, we all love it. They open until pretty late too, will be coming back!
