Crema's Take

This quirky spot inhabits a former auto mechanic shop and has carved out a devoted following for its unexpectedly stellar fried chicken sandwiches and creative donuts—think piña colada glazes alongside classic varieties—rather than its coffee, which reviewers consistently note isn't the draw. The casual, family-friendly vibe paired with quick service, solid breakfast options, and adventurous sides like deep-fried cauliflower make it feel more like a beloved neighborhood gem than a typical coffee shop, perfect for a hearty grab-and-go breakfast that actually delivers.

Came here for the first time today super excited! Doughnuts were great and breakfast sandwiches were simple and tasty. However, if you’re a coffee person don’t expect greatness. We ordered a latte and a chai tea, both could certainly use work. The prices and atmosphere are great. Certainly would come back for food, but might hit another coffee shop on the way for drinks.

Ordered the original chicken sandwich, deep fried cauliflower, and a pina coloda donut. I liked the chicken 🐔 sandwich alot. The cauliflower was okay and glad I tried it. It came with a zesty sauce. The donut was a cake like donut with pineapple 🍍 frosting and topped with shredded coconut 🥥. Would go back for sure!

The fried chicken was amazing! So crunchy and juicy. Honestly some of the best chicken I’ve had in a while. Donuts were sublime too and so many options. Great coffee.

The building was formerly an auto mechanic shop, which explains the name and gives the place a unique, quirky style. I’d read rave reviews about their fried chicken sandwich and donuts, so I decided to stop by. I ordered the fried chicken sandwich ($9) and a chocolate cake donut with buttercream icing ($1.50). The sandwich was excellent—the breading was thick and crunchy, which I really enjoyed. The cake donut was also delicious, with a rich chocolate flavor and smooth buttercream on top, and the price is reasonable. There’s plenty of parking, a few outdoor tables with umbrellas, and some indoor seating as well. The staff behind the counter were super friendly and welcoming. If I’m in the area again, I’d definitely stop in for another fried chicken sandwich.

If you haven’t been here, what are you even doing? Great food, great price and great service. Let me start off by talking about their cauliflower “wings” because we went there for a chicken sandwich and these alternative chicken bites took over the show. We love trying new things and cauliflower bites aren’t anything I’ve ever cared for but now its definitely in our list. The chicken sandwich is a must try, if you like the heat I recommend their spicy chicken sandwich. It is consistent with the flavor since the first time we ever got it. To be completely honest We tried all their donuts when they first opened and we didn’t care for them, little too dry and very small selection. I can tell you for a fact that wasn’t the case when we went recently. I completely regret not grabbing more passion fruit donuts and the strawberry chocolate donuts because they were definitely unique and full of flavor. Their donut selection doubled in size if not it tripled. Very happy to try the new flavors definitely need to go try all the other ones. The only complaint I have is the large side portion of the mac and cheese is over priced. Unless they make their pasta from scratch that side is too small for $8.
