Crema's Take
“This hidden gem brings authentic Turkish and Lebanese hospitality to Bellingham, where you can linger over expertly prepared Turkish coffee and baklava that's clearly made with genuine care—each flavor is so good you'll find yourself torn between trying just one more. The cozy, old-world atmosphere, complete with traditional décor and lamps that transport you straight to Istanbul or Beirut, combined with staff who genuinely make you feel welcomed, makes this the kind of place where you'll want to settle in for hours rather than rush through.”

Excellent service, the baklava, turkish products you wont find anywhere else, lamps etc. the staff here is wonderful and its one of the only places in bellingham you can get a sophisticated old world turkish coffee shop feel. I am a regular as often as I can get downtown. Great people to talk to.
Amazing and fun experience. The Turkish coffee was delicious. The baklava was outstanding. You can tell a lot of care was put into the food. I enjoyed everything. I was surprised to spend $4.50 on a herbal tea that was from stash ( with everything there there, I thought it would be a homemade herbal). Overall, it was a fun experience and getting to introduce my kiddo to it made it even better.
Tried one of each baklava flavor-couldn’t pick a favorite they were all amazing along with Turkish coffees! Loved the atmosphere as well :)
My daughter and I stopped by Ashuri Baklava & Cafe for a cup of coffee, and it was such a lovely experience. She was born in Beirut, Lebanon, where I had lived for nine years, so finding a place with authentic coffee was important to us—and this café did not disappoint. The Turkish coffee here is the real deal, served either with or without cardamom, and it instantly took me back to the flavors I remember so fondly. Beyond the coffee, they also offer Turkish delight, baklava, and other treats. The baklava was absolutely delicious, with options like pistachio and walnut that are wonderfully traditional. You can even purchase their coffee to take home, along with a few charming knickknacks they have for sale. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with a cozy seating area perfect for enjoying your coffee and pastry. The young gentleman who served us was incredibly kind and attentive, adding to the overall experience. If you’re in Bellingham and looking for authentic Turkish coffee and sweets, I highly recommend stopping by Ashuri Baklava & Cafe.
Visited with friends a nice cozy place in Bellingham. Really liked the atmosphere in the cafe. The most delicious Turkish coffee, light breakfast in Turkish style. The service was neat and timely. A small remark in terms of serving. Please use plastic plates for serving. It was very unsightly to eat breakfast from tight boxes.
