Easily the best breakfast place in town. One of my top 5 of all time anywhere. The staff is always friendly and awesome. Food is perfect and consistent every time. As a breakfast addict, take it from me. It doesn’t get any better. If there’s a wait, it usually isn’t long, unless you have a big party, and it’s a weekend. But either way it’s always worth the wait.

Old Town Cafe has been a bit of a brunch staple in Bellingham for some time. Just because this is the case, doesn't mean it is immune to criticism. First for the good - the food is good, albeit just good, nothing spectacular and is just what is expected from a diner. Now for the bad - starting with the service, it was quite subpar. First our party was skipped over for the same size group that arrived after us for unknown reasons resulting in a 45+ min wait. We then had items that we ordered that never arrived to our table that we had to ask about which they promptly brought out... even the drip was forgotten and wasn't topped off unless asked. Lastly, they provided us with a water glass that was chipped and had a sharp edge someone could have cut their lip on. All of it was just bizarre and disappointing. Ultimately I think this place is still in business only due to lack of options/alternative brunch spots. They need to do better, because that experience was not great.

Quirky little place; great food! I had the special- croissant with gruyere, bacon, arugula and scrambled egg & vanilla cappuccino.

I visited this place during the summer and forgot to review until now. I love this place, this place screams comfort food and I’d always come back for more. We came here on a Friday and it was pretty busy, a little bit of a wait but well worth it! Since it was hot outside that day, we sat outside and it was beautiful. Service was excellent! I was able to try the Egg Tacos and my partner got the Farmer’s Skillet as well as a pancake for us to share. All of it was delicious and I will be back to devour more! Thank you!!:)

I’m so happy we found this restaurant! We’re from Seattle and came to Bellingham for a getaway and Old Town met all of our needs. We love supporting small family owned businesses, and this one deserves our all! The food was amazing, locally sourced, great atmosphere, great people. Highly recommend!
