B & W Specialty Coffee Company

Without question the best coffee available in Minnesota. We used their coffee at Ward 6, and I’ve urged other places to use them. Ask when you visit a restaurant or cafe, and if they use B&W know that you’re getting the good stuff.

I'm reviewing the coffee, not the location however I encountered this at the Northern Taphouse and was so taken aback by the flavor I asked for the brand and name of the coffee so I could track it down. This was the BEST cup of coffee I ever had in a restaurant and am excited to enjoy it at home thanks to their web site.

It's hard to find decaf espresso, but b+w sells it and it's delicious! I am also happy to support a local small business instead of corporations. The bag is durable and has a zipper seal, too. All around very happy!

We have been using B&W coffee since we opened 20 years ago. I'm often approached by other roasters, but the comments I get from my customers convince me that there is no one better. And the customer service we get from B&W is top notch. Their techs are really knowledgeable, and they get to us quickly if we have an equipment issue. Their roaster is the best anywhere, and their knowledge of coffee makes me dizzy. Kate and Alex (and really, everyone who works there) are the best. In the beginning, they totally set us up with everything we needed, including training, and they continue to support us. Twenty years!! Best. Coffee. Anywhere!

I have worked closely with Alex, Kate, and their team at BW Coffee Roasters since 2014, when I opened a coffee shop. Their guidance and expertise have helped our shop succeed, and their roasted coffee is always fantastic. We have won over so many new customers once they try BW's coffee, and we haven't tried anything else that even comes close. They are helpful and friendly, and the coffee is so consistent it is remarkable. Besides that, they have been in business for at least 30 years, which is a testament to their business.
