Crema's Take

This Eagle River gem pairs expertly crafted espresso drinks with a genuine cabin-style atmosphere that doubles as a gallery for local artists, making it as much a gathering place as a caffeine destination. Whether you're grabbing a quick americano from the drive-up shack or settling in with a cappuccino and housemade pastry, the team here treats every order with care and warmth that keeps people driving across Anchorage just to return. The specialty drinks shine brightest, though fair warning—stick with their espresso-forward menu rather than the drip coffee if you want a memorable cup.

What to expect

Espresso-focused. A slow-sit, laptop-friendly, quick-grab spot, good for meetings. Pastries and light food on the menu. Opens early. Parking available. Drive-thru.

Good ambiance! Fun environment, but If you ordering decaf just ask them to fresh grind it. Mine was stout and tasted bitter with age.

The coolest local coffeehouse. There’s a drive up shack in the parking lot if you’re in a hurry although I highly recommend immersing yourself in the cafe. I personally enjoy a hot americano with a splash of cream and you really can’t go wrong with any of their pastries.
