Crema's Take

Tucked into North Providence, this thoughtfully executed café from WeRoast Coffee strikes that rare balance between serious espresso craftsmanship and genuine neighborhood warmth, with owner Teddy creating a space that's equally welcoming for a solo work session or a family breakfast outing. The standout isn't just the well-pulled shots—it's the full breakfast and sandwich program that elevates it beyond typical coffee shop fare, with standouts like their bacon habanero jam BEC earning genuine devotion from regulars. It's the kind of place that feels like a natural successor to chain coffee culture, packed with character and space to linger.

The cutest spot for coffee and breakfast. Sandwiches and bread are great and enjoyed the coffee, it wasn’t too weak. Great place to bring little kids in a stroller there’s plenty of space. 10/10!

Looking for a replacement for Starbucks and Dunkin’ Donuts? This spot is pretty solid. It's my first time coming here. I literally googled the best coffee shop around Central Falls, and this was the top choice. I usually go to Starbucks and get the cart, but with everything going on right now, I’m good on them. I grabbed a classic berry acai bowl and a large caramel macchiato. I didn’t have to add any sugar to the caramel macchiato, so that was a plus.

Public House by WeRoast Coffee is easily one of the best breakfast and coffee destinations in Lincoln, and honestly one of the most thoughtfully executed cafes in the area. From the moment you step inside, it is clear that this place was designed with intention. The space is open, bright, and inviting, with a clean modern aesthetic that still feels warm and comfortable. Natural light fills the room, the layout is spacious without feeling empty, and the seating options make it easy to settle in whether you are there solo, with family, or meeting friends. It is the kind of environment where you can enjoy a quiet morning, have a conversation without shouting, or stay longer than planned without feeling rushed. The atmosphere truly sets this place apart. It feels like a community space rather than just a coffee shop. Seeing board games and chess boards available adds a unique, welcoming touch that encourages people to slow down, engage, and enjoy the moment. It is refreshing to find a cafe that feels calm and intentional rather than rushed or overly commercial. The breakfast food is excellent across the board. Everything tastes fresh, well prepared, and balanced. Portions are generous without being overwhelming, and the flavors are clean and satisfying. You can tell the ingredients are high quality and that care is put into every plate. This is not fast, throwaway breakfast food. It is the kind of breakfast that actually feels worth going out for. The coffee deserves special recognition. It is smooth, rich, and expertly brewed, without bitterness or inconsistency. Whether you prefer a classic drip coffee or something more crafted, the quality is immediately noticeable. This is coffee made by people who clearly understand and respect the craft. Every cup tastes intentional, not rushed. Service here is another major highlight. The staff is genuinely friendly, welcoming, and attentive. Interactions feel authentic, not forced or scripted. Questions are answered thoughtfully, orders are handled efficiently, and there is a clear sense that the team takes pride in both the product and the experience they are providing. It creates a relaxed, positive environment that makes you want to return. What really stands out is how well everything comes together. Great food, excellent coffee, a comfortable and inviting atmosphere, and strong service all working in harmony. Nothing feels overlooked. Nothing feels accidental. It is rare to find a place that consistently delivers across every category, but this cafe does exactly that. Public House by WeRoast Coffee has quickly become a go to spot in Lincoln for breakfast and coffee. It is perfect for locals, families, professionals looking for a place to work or meet, and anyone who simply appreciates quality. Highly recommended, and absolutely deserving of five stars.

Public House is a cozy spot to grab something to drink, a quick bite, and catch up with a friend or do some work. We really enjoyed the vibe inside and the coffees we ordered. We came in the evening so it wasn’t too busy but this would be the perfect spot to get some work done. They have a bar and board games in the back if you’re looking for something a little extra.

VERY VERY nice spot! Super friendly staff. Teddy the owner is a really great guy. I had the BEC sandwich (bacon, egg & cheese w/ bacon habanero jam) Probably the best breakfast sandwich I've ever had....along with a nice cold brew. Also had to try the oatmeal cookies...which were also great. This is a MUST try spot! Congrats Teddy on your new, amazing location.
