F1rst Avenue Coffee
1011 W 1st Ave, Spokane, WA
Crema's Take
“This spacious modern spot on First Avenue has mastered the art of fresh-baked pastries that actually live up to the hype, with customers raving about everything from jalapeño cheese danish to lemon blueberry scones that taste nothing like the dry, stale alternatives elsewhere. Their cold brew is genuinely considered the best in Spokane, and the genuinely kind staff and inviting atmosphere make it an ideal refuge for work meetings, solo work sessions, or just lingering over coffee and conversation. Fair warning: arrive after the morning rush if you want stellar service and the full coffee enthusiast experience, but whenever you come, you'll find a thoughtfully designed space with solid breakfast options and plenty of gluten-free choices.”

Oh my goodness best pastries! Everything is so fresh we had the Jalapeño Cheese Danish and the Lemon Blueberry Scone. Both were so fresh, not dry and stale like most scones. I can’t wait to go back to try more. I also loved that the coffees weren’t too sweet we tried the vanilla orange blossom latte and the salted honey latte. The staff were also super friendly!
Beautiful coffee shop with delicious breakfast food options. Spacious, modern, and inviting atmosphere. Very friendly staff. Great space to hang and wake up.
First Ave is the best! It’s my favorite place for work meetings or getting some work done on my own. The staff is always so kind and the cold brew is the #1 in Spokane hands down!! Their fresh baked goods are always so good and they rotate the menu pretty often, I’m always trying something new while I’m there. I like to grab some of their homemade granola for when I make yogurt bowls at home as well! 10/10 recommend, the vibes are always top notch!!
Visually, it’s a lovely place. If you’re a coffee enthusiast, arrive later in the day. At 8 am, there’s only one person working, so you won’t get good service or coffee. My quad breve is more like brewed coffee with cream.
Amazing coffee. It was so so good. Very cute decor. On street parking only. Staff wasn't super organized and it took a while to get my drink. Lots of gluten free and vegan options. No soy milk... which is my fav. It was almost $9 for a latte however....
