Crema's Take

This vibrant food and beverage collective in Spokane is where Boots Bakery relocated, sharing a bustling indoor commons with a standout pizza shop, specialty tea spot, and craft brewery presence. The space strikes a rare balance between daytime refuge—with a chill, comfortable atmosphere perfect for lingering over coffee and pastries—and evening destination, complete with live music and a medieval-tavern-like bar energy. Whether you're after creative pizza with excellent crust, thoughtful vegan options, or a welcoming spot that feels like a genuine community gathering place rather than a chain, this is a destination worth making time for.

Peace Pie is gone and my heart is broken. That said, I do love the vibes of this spot. It's very comfortable and open. Also, I think the Google listing is confused. Saranac Commons is like an indoor vendor mall, but with permanent businesses. There is no business called 'Saranac Commons' and therefore there is no price range, food, service, etc. that can be appropriately applied to the space as a whole.

Delicious vegan food for those trying to avoid all the meat centralized places to eat. Welcoming staff and beautiful bar atmosphere makes you feel like you are eating at a tavern from the middle ages. I had the vegan mac & cheese and a potato croquette.

One of the best stops in town. The daytime shares a chill atmosphere with great food and beverages. The night life is poppin with live music and Black Lable brewery action. Well worth the time and energy.

Peace pie at Saranac Commons is a great place to get a pizza. The crust is excellent and the toppings are fresh. The specials are, to say the least, creative. But also really, really. Put in your order, grab a table and then go across the aisle to Black Label Brewing for a beer. Service is excellent, even on a busy Friday night. This was our first visit, but we will definitely be back.
