Crema's Take

Tucked along Grand Avenue in Uptown, Royal Grounds is a beautiful corner spot that feels like a neighborhood gem with genuinely friendly staff and thoughtfully crafted drinks beyond your standard espresso menu—think Black Chai Lattes and creative matcha offerings alongside quality pastries. The cozy, comfortable atmosphere with ample seating makes it equally perfect for a solo work session with your laptop or lingering over tea with friends, backed up by solid wifi and plentiful water that shows they actually care about your visit.

Sweet coffee shop in the Kings Field neighborhood in Minneapolis. Plenty of seating. Fun beverage choices. Street parking only. Nice spot. Friendly. Enjoyed a lovely cup of tea with friends.

Royal Grounds is a pretty cozy little coffee shop, nestled along Grand Ave in Uptown Minneapolis. The coffee is delicious, water is plentiful, and the snacks are too notch. I appreciate that the shop discourages tips in favor of a fair wage for all employees. The decor is also quite unique and fun, especially in the bathroom.

RGC is really a beautiful corner coffee shop. You are lucky if this is your neighborhood and have such a classic shop to go to. If you are driving in the area it is worth a stop. Parking is on the street and this is a quieter corner than many of the other coffee shops. The building stands out on the quiet corner. Coffee was pretty good and served in a a right sized mug. I had a cubano, which, while not rare, is not the most common drink. Mine was strong and acidic as it should be. Highly recommended.

Decided to stop by here after seeing one of my clients. Can I just say how cute and comfy this place is?!!! I had the Black Chai Latte and Pumpkin Cream Cheese (forgot entire name). The bakery was so soft and delicious! Such a relaxing and wonderful short time I had here. Staff was kind. Would be back to read some books!

Friendly staff and good coffee along with plenty of baked goods at this place. I enjoyed it and I look forward to coming back next time I'm in the area.
