Waterbean Coffee - South End Vantage

The place is very nice and clean and they offer a nice selection of coffee and food. The staff working the morning shift on 3/9/26 were extremely rude and very unpleasant. I was courteous and patient however the young lady with the dark black hair lacks basic customer service skills.

Purchased the same espresso beans I have been buying for a few months today but noticed no "roasted on date" or "use by date". When asked why no date, I was told the bags are new and the date doesn't really matter. This batch was significantly different than prior batches. I will be buying beans elsewhere in the future.

20$ for 3 drinks. Iced Vanilla Matcha 8/10 Iced Flat white 7/10 Iced Latte With Ube cold foam 9/10 Waterbean Coffee is tucked inside a busy office building lobby. It’s a solid spot to get work done plenty of tables and couches, though it can get loud during the lunch rush. The standout? The UBE cold foam. Easily the highlight of the visit.

We love WaterBean it’s our go to every Friday morning! We get bacon, egg, and provolone cheese sandwiches on a croissant with their special sauce. So delicious. And the matcha ain’t bad, either!

A little bit difficult to find on your first time, but otherwise great. The inside is very nice, very modern but cozy. The staff is great. They have multiple beans and roasts to choose from and they let you decide which one you want. First time I’ve been to a coffee shop here in Charlotte that would let you choose between 5 different bean options.
