Crema's Take

This Tucson gem serves authentic Afghan cuisine that earns consistent praise for its freshness and generous portions, with standout dishes like Kabuli Pulaw and lamb kebabs that keep locals coming back weekly. Beyond the restaurant, there's an attached market where you can explore Afghan groceries, and the genuinely warm staff make families and first-time visitors feel welcomed into an authentic culinary experience. It's a perfect spot to grab traditional drinks and pastries quickly, or settle in for something more substantial—all prepared with halal standards and care that shows in every bite.

Delicious and fresh. I recommend every dish with lamb, either stew or kebab. Their Chutney is refreshing. Love their rice.

Our friends who had spent time in Afghanistan introduced to Kabul Corner and vouched for the authenticity of the food. It is a small restaurant & market. It is located in a small strip mall off of Fort Lowell. There is free off street parking near the restaurant. We were seated and waited on right away. The food was prepared quickly. Entrees were served with bread, salads and rice. The portions were quite ample and prices were very reasonable. It was a very good meal in a nice quiet family run restaurant.

Incredible food. Absolutely love the Kabuli Pulaw. Some of the best Afghan Food I have had. Very good portions as well. And best part is they serve only Halal! The staff are always very friendly and accommodating. The restaurant is combined with a grocery store so not really the most fine dining type experience but the food is outstanding

Passing through town and wanted to try this restaurant. I had looked at the menu and decided to try Mantou, Bolani Gandana, Jalebi and some Naan. All was yummy but my absolute favorite was the Mantou. Dumplings with seasoned beef and chickpeas. Best thing I've tried in a long time. The Bolani Gandana was a tad spicier than I expected but still good. The Jalebi was just a small delicate treat of swirled battered, fried and topped with rose sugar syrup. The naan was hardy thick bread also good. If you're in the area definitely try it. Especially the Mantou. They also have small grocery area with pantry items, spices, candy, dried fruit and nuts, etc.

Delicious lamb kabobs, leek pancakes, and rice. Good seasoning. Very clean restaurant and grocery market. Can’t wait to come back every or every other week. Solid for the dining out rotation. Can you do outdoor dining in the winter?
