Crema's Take

This Nantucket institution is beloved for its rotating cast of exceptional pastries and breakfast items, where devoted regulars return daily hoping to snag the famous morning buns before they sell out. Beyond the stellar baked goods—think flaky croissants, cinnamon rolls, and inventive creations like Toad in the Hole—they pour quality fresh-brewed coffee and serve a full breakfast menu in a casual, family-friendly atmosphere that feels like a genuine community gathering spot. It's the kind of place where the helpful staff know their specialties intimately and where your morning visit genuinely feels worth planning around.

Everything at this bakery is fantastic! We picked up goodies every morning- Morning Buns, Cinnamon Rolls, Morning Glory Muffins, Honey Buns, Chocolate Croissant...it didn't matter if they were out of one. That one thing got substituted with another baked good that was just as delicious. Everything was fresh, homemade and warm from the oven. It truly is wicked good- don't miss your chance to go here!¡

Had to stop with a name like Wicked how could we walk past. Just had breakfast so not hungry so we got a cinnamon muffin which the helpful lady said was their speciality. It was so flaky and delicious. Well worth the walking distance from the Hy Line dock.

Incredible food. I had the best breakfast pastry of my life here, Toad in the Hole. Unbelievable. And the rhubarb strawberry crumble cake, outstanding! We came for the morning bun but they weren't out of the oven yet, but my husband and I were not disappointed with the other options available. Absolutely worth stopping in and grabbing breakfast. They have some outdoor seating, no indoor. Drive it out to Nobadeer beach close by!

We tried 4 items: morning bun, pumpkin crumble, nosara spiced scone, and pumpkin scone. I think the morning bun is overrated ($5.35). It's small and absolutely smothered with sugar. Just way too sweet. The system for ordering these is totally non existent. Don't expect to walk in and get one right away. The employee told me "we have a batch ready to go in the oven. It will take 20-25 mins to bake and prepare, but we don't know when we will put in the oven. Can't give you any kind of estimate, just come by again whenever." Totally baffling. If you are really dying to try morning bun, call ahead and see if you can get any sense of availability and/or timing from them. The pumpkin crumble was amazing. Easily our favorite item. Both scones were decent -- less sweet but also less flavorful. If you're looking for something more subtle, go for the scones.

Selection of fresh brewed coffee, hot & cold sandwiches, pastries and cookies. The egg bites (or was it egg cup?!) were delicious! Also fresh pizza dough for $2 ! I’ll try the morning glory muffin next time!!!
