Local coffee and wine nerds. Beacon Coffee beans with an expert barista. Beer and cider on tap. Wine by the glass. A small homey kitchen menu with panini sandwiches and a posh house salad (the grilled cheese is my fav). Cooler full of other non alcoholic beverages and fine wines to go. Wifi for laptoppin'.

Awesome new coffee/wine/beer spot in Ventura!! Everything I’ve tried has been great! Matcha, lattes, wine, beer, and seltzers from a local spot. A new favorite spot of mine!

Great place to work while enjoying an afternoon drink! Super fast WiFi, incredibly friendly service, and delicious drinks and paninis. The owner even did an impromptu wine tasting while helping a customer pick a bottle of wine! I will definitely be back.

SIPS is a new gem in the Ventura area serving coffee, pastries, beer, wine, sandwiches and snacks. We went for the opening weekend and loved the energy - a live DJ playing appropriately loud music, friendly staff, and a packed house. SIPS is owned and operated by a brother/sister duo who respectively have backgrounds in beer and wine and it really shows on the curated drink menu and to-go market section. The menu and shelves are stacked with some of the best local wines and beers, all of which were reasonably priced. The owners were friendly and greeted every guest like family, creating a real feeling of community. We enjoyed a cold local beer on tap and a wine flight along with some tasty bar snacks. There were families enjoying the patio (which is dog friendly) and couples watching the football game at the bar. SIPS is a much needed community watering hole in the area and one of our new favorite spots to spend an afternoon. We will be back to try the paninis and coffee!

SIPS is a new coffee shop / wine and beer bar just off of Johnson. Such a cool concept for a business! The owners are a brother and sister duo who are so kind and welcoming. Katie has been in the wine business forever and has a super intimate knowledge of all things wine. Brooks is the beer side of the operation with experience in local craft breweries. So they really know their stuff! I can’t wait until the grand opening so we can see their full selection. I know it’s going to be thoughtful, unique, and amazing. I visited the weekend of the soft opening and tried a couple coffees on the menu as well as some pastries (which are from Cafe Ficelle! If you know, you know.) They also have a bigger selection of food that I’ll have to try on my next visit. I got a cortado and a shakerado (a must try). They came in fancy glasses which added to the fun experience. Both drinks were really good, came out quickly, and clearly made with love. The shop is clean, easy to get to, has plenty of seating inside and an outdoor patio, easy parking, and lots of outlets if you want to hang out for a while. The bathroom was also super clean which is always a plus! I am so excited to see this family-owned business succeed. I’m always happy to support small business and these owners are good people worth giving your business to!
