Crema's Take

This beloved Eugene fixture has earned devoted fans who travel across the country just to bring home bags of their exceptional beans, particularly the cult-favorite "Hair of the Dog" roast. The espresso-focused menu shines whether you're ordering a traditional drink or exploring their specialty offerings, all served in a genuinely welcoming space with generous indoor and outdoor seating that draws everyone from early-morning commuters to afternoon lingerers who come for the great coffee, pastries, and regular local artist performances.

This is my favorite coffee house I've ever been to. Whenever family goes to Oregon to visit, they try to swing by and grab a bag or two to bring back to Maryland for me. I asked every coffee house we visited in Oregon for their favorite drink and I tried a bunch. I walked in, asked the barista and they confidently just poured their house blend of the day and said, "Here ya go!" No 12 ingredient latte, just damn good coffee.

I work in the local area. Thanks so much for disallowing the concrete campers to set up shop in front of your store for the evening. It is sure nice to come to work with a clean normal street. It also feels and makes our neighborhood safer. Thanks for setting an example. Maybe the rest of the city will take notice. Eugene could be a great city again if they choose to be.

One of the best coffee spots in Eugene but go early (they open early enough that you can grab a cup at 7:00 am on the way to work). Like most places here, later in the day even the lattes turn from smooth velvety to sour/bitter. They have daily fresh baked vegan goodies, fluffier and softer than most but if you're used to traditional/regular biscuits rolls etc than it will likely not satisfy. Good to know: anytime a fruit is mentioned in baked goods description they mean jam. They have board games/bathroom/local bulletin board, and while the wooden table/benches are uncomfortable they are clean and spacious.

Love the vibes and all the seating indoor and outdoor! Got their chai and cinnamon roll. The cinnamon roll was top notch I just wish the chai had more spice. They also have local artist perform every once in a while! Overall, will be coming back to try their coffee beans and catch a show!
