Cute little store selling essentials and lunch sandwich menu. Small seating area with a fireplace. Sandwiches are huge, but the bread could be fresher! A good stop on the way to/from emerald Bay.
Sometimes the best experiences in life happen unplanned. We stumbled across the general store while being out and about on a Sunday afternoon. We only wanted a hot chocolate with whip cream, but we also saw this beautiful homemade apple pie sitting in the pastry case. Buck, the manager admitted to making the pie himself, so we couldn’t resist trying it by their cute and warm fireplace in the store. Great service, home-like coziness and great food (the BLT was perfect also). Please put the Camp Richardson General store on your radar when you visit South Lake Tahoe!! We look forward to returning for our next winter treat…
