Crema's Take
“This Richmond ice cream parlor has built a devoted following with genuinely creative flavor combinations like brown sugar cookie dough and triple berry cobbler, elevated by the option to pair them with warm desserts like brownies for à la mode perfection. The shop strikes that rare balance of being both a quick-grab spot for a cone and a comfortable place to linger, with a cute atmosphere that keeps families coming back regularly. While their base ice cream quality clearly impresses even fans of other local favorites, what really sets Scoop apart is how they've thought beyond standard flavors to create memorable taste experiences that inspire customers to return again and again.”

Scoop was a literal drug for me and my (now ex) girlfriend for like 2 years. The brown sugar cookie dough and confetti cake, on top of a blondie or waffle cone would turn any healthy person into a happy diabetic! But scoop is more than just 2 favorites…we used to try every flavor and racked up at least 30 punch cards ( which had 10 punches for 10 purchases each…to give you an idea of how often we went 😅) and can honestly say none of the flavors were bad at all…but we always stood by our brown sugar cookie dough as the primary choice I find a lot of the bad reviews nitpicking and seems like the result of super busy days…which can occur VERY often, so if the line was wrapped around the building, we would just come by later. Otherwise, a solid 5/5 ice cream shop
So yummy! We got confetti and brown sugar cookie dough and loved it. Super cute shop and lots of ice cream in the double. Lots of unique and yummy flavors.
So so good. I’ve always been a fan of Gelati Celesti (which I still am) but this place has brownies and other warm deserts to make à la modes. The ice cream is also amazing in its own way. The flavors are also very unique but well done. My new favorite ice cream shop!
I go to scoop all of the time, but this is the first time that I have found a long piece of hair in my ice cream. It was longer than this but broke twice as I was trying to get it out. I picked up this ice cream last night (1/16) at 8 o’clock for my anniversary. I am extremely disappointed that I cannot eat my ice cream, as I really love Scoop. The hair is blonde.
Stopped by here for a sweet treat after dinner and wow, this place is incredible! We tried a few samples of their flavors before settling on triple berry cobbler, and it was some of the most delightful ice cream I've ever had. The shop was very cute and the employees were all super friendly, great vibes across the board. Absolutely worth checking this place out!
