Julio’s Bagels

These are my new favorite bagels in richmond! Absolutely delicious! I got the salt bagel with jalapeño cream cheese and it was amazing! The interior is adorable and the staff is very friendly! 10/10 recommend!

Originally came in just to pick up beans from Recluse Roasters. Really really good bagels. The man that helped me was so so kind and knowledgeable. I had a vanilla latte, BEC bagel on the salt bagel, the lox bagel, and a mocha. Love love love the house made vanilla and chocolate syrups!!! Recluse beans and house made syrups really made the latte one of my favorites! The bagels are so good and the salt bagel was perfect with the BEC. The salt from the bagel and pepper from the bacon really seasoned the whole sandwich perfect. Can’t wait to come back. They know what they are doing!!

I ordered a bacon & cheese bagel because I have an egg intolerance. They gave me a bacon and egg bagel, after confirming my cheese choice. No big deal. Walked back in and let them know and they corrected the issue, but the bagel is quite literally now just a slice of cheddar cheese on a room temp bagel. The bagel is delicious, but I’m sad it isn’t warm and gooey like it should have been.

A welcomed addition to north side! The sourdough bagels are very flavorful, lots of house made options to top them with. The lox and other breakfast sandwiches are excellent, several fun spreads to try too. Make sure to get the frozen espresso lemonade! Julio’s had already become a staple for our house when we want a weekend bagel. The quality and hospitality here sets them apart from the rest.

The line was worth it! Walked in for our first visit to join an impressive line. Several folks dropped out because it was slow, but it gave us more time to appreciate the space. Loved the plant wall between the counter and kitchen areas. Green tile, white paint, and huge windows created a crisp, clean image. Fun merch. Great bagels! The sourdough flavor comes through as the best complement to the chewy texture. My salt bagel was a bit too brown for my liking, but the chew inside was delightful. Super friendly staff. Lovely stop!
