Crema's Take

This Covington matcha destination has earned fierce loyalty for serving what fans genuinely believe is the best matcha in the Cincinnati area, with creative seasonal flavors that keep regulars coming back weekly. The real magic is in the atmosphere and the owners' genuine care—staff members like Cindy and Derek are known for their warmth and willingness to guide you through the menu with real expertise, making every visit feel like you're being welcomed into something special rather than just ordering a drink. It's become the kind of place people wish existed in their own cities, a neighborhood gem where the vibes, service, and quality all hit that elusive 10.

Never in my life have I had better matcha. THE VIBES. The staff. The environment. The service. All absolute 10s. I wish so badly we had this place in Chicago. Shoutout Cindy and Derek. We came for three days straight and basically got 3 matchas each for every time. I’ll be thinking about this place every single day while I am at home. I had the rose, the coconut cloud, the strawberry, and the matcha matcha. All were 10s. The ROSE is for sureeee my favorite. I would literally book a trip to Cincinnati just to come back.

the only place i trust to get matcha! the owners are so sweet, and the workers are always willing to give recommendations/answer questions about the menu. i would highly recommend taking their matcha class too! my bf and i took a class for valentine’s day and had a great time. small class of 4 people and we made matcha powder for our own drinks, in addition to being served a flight of drinks! derek had a lot of great information over the history and preparation of matcha. 🍵

My fav matcha in the cincy area. I first tried little matcha as a pop up at the city fleas. It quickly became something I craved. When they opened the store front in October 2025 I was so excited I waited in the line for the awesome opening day. Since then I go back at least once a week. It’s so fun to try the new rotating flavors. Ube, coconut cloud, lavender, and pistachio have been my favorites. If you are expecting a super quick thrown together drink this ain’t that. They take the time to hand whisk every drink and it really comes through with the flavor. So give yourself some time if you pop by especially on weekends. If you get the chance to chat with Cindy or Derek they will gladly tell you about their travels and passion for matcha. They have taught me so much about matcha in convos and on their socials.

Really good matcha!! They have creative flavors that I love to try each week. Staff is very knowledgeable and nice to interact with. They are always ready to answer any questions I have. Can’t recommend them enough! The best matcha in GSO if you ask me

Little Matcha has quickly become my new favorite matcha spot in the Cincinnati area. It’s such a great addition to the neighborhood — from the moment you walk in, the vibe is welcoming and the staff is genuinely kind and personable, which makes every visit feel special. The variety of matchas is unreal, and I love that they rotate flavors every two weeks — it keeps things exciting and gives you something new to look forward to every visit. Some standout flavors I’ve loved over the past few months include gingerbread, caramel, eggnog, strawberry, and their banana bread matcha (which deserves its own fan club). If you're not a fan of matcha, they do have alternatives like the Vietnamese coffee, which I definitely recommend! Another huge bonus is how they support other small businesses by featuring local pastries in the shop from time to time — everything I’ve tried has been fantastic and pairs perfectly with their matcha. I’ve definitely become a regular and always find myself excited to see what new flavors they’re rolling out next. If you love matcha (or are curious to try it), Little Matcha is a must-visit.
