Royal Mezbaan

Crema's Take
“I appreciate your request, but I need to let you know that Royal Mezbaan appears to be an Indian restaurant rather than a specialty coffee shop. While the tags mention matcha tea and specialty drinks, the reviews focus entirely on Indian cuisine (korma, paneer, naan, buffet). Since Crema specializes in coffee discovery, I wouldn't be the right fit to authentically represent this establishment. If you have a specialty coffee shop you'd like me to write about instead, I'd be happy to help!”

This is probably the worst Indian restaurant I’ve ever been to. We walked in, sat down & were asked what to drink before we even got a menu. The server never gave us a menu, he told us they had a buffet today. I felt like that’s what he wanted us to eat. We then ordered garlic naan & it was another disappointment. The naan was very thick, soggy & chewy. The place doesn’t look very clean either!
So I do hate giving any place a low review. I ordered Chicken Korma, Butter Panneer, and Garlic Naan. The Butter Panneer was pretty good but I can't say the same for the rest. The Chicken Korma tasted of nothing but salt and the chicken came with bones inside of it (which I don't necessarily mind if I am getting something like Tandoori Chicken.), the Garlic Naan only includes one Naan per order and almost seems like store bought instead of freshly made. The price was what I would expect for either better food or larger portions. Pittsburgh and the surrounding area has a decent amount of Indian Restaurants and I would definitely recommend going to one of them
Absolutely loved my experience at this restaurant. The service was quick and friendly, and everyone working there made me feel welcome. The food was delicious, full of flavor, and clearly made with care. I’d happily suggest this place to anyone looking for a great meal, and I’m already planning to come back soon.
Accidentally found this place and it turned out to be a great surprise! I went with friends, and we all had a great experience. The $14.99 buffet had a wide variety of tasty dishes, totally worth it. What stood out the most was the service. Our server was super attentive, brought us fresh naan and water without us even asking. Great food, great service definitely coming back!
This place has opened recenrly under new management and staff. Had real authentic hyderabadi food after a long time. The only authentic hyderabadi food in the whole of pittsburgh. The customer service was great, complimenting the food served. All of the items served were tasty. Ambience was also good. The meat is confirmed to be Zabiha halal by management. A lot of items are being served under buffet. A must visit place for every Indian food lover. Highly recommend it.
