Frog & the Hen
466 Flowing Wells Rd #4, Evans, GA
Crema's Take
“Frog & the Hen has earned its reputation as Evans' beloved brunch destination with exceptional comfort food that goes beyond the basics—think savory Gouda grits bowls, Belgian waffles with crispy chicken, and cheddar biscuits that are worth the hype. The casual, family-friendly vibe and attentive service create the perfect backdrop for lingering conversations over coffee, though arrive early or expect a welcoming crowd, especially around lunchtime. It's the kind of place where locals keep coming back for the food quality and genuine warmth, even if the drinks command a premium price.”

Great place for brunch (although no mimosas in Sunday’s until 11 due to state law). We very much enjoyed our food. Had the breakfast platter and grit bowl. Cheddar biscuit was huge but delish. We’ve been here several times and it’s always great. Soul the server was super friendly .
Absolutely delicious! Great vibes and nice place. It's definitely crowded near lunchtime. My favorite I had so far is their chicken strips and Belgian waffle and their shrimp and grits--melts completely in my mouth. I would totally go there again❤️💯🍽️
Service and the good was great! Seated quickly. Drinks a little pricey. I had the pumpkin waffle and chicken , very tasty not too sweet. He had the maple gravy and chicken biscuit, was delicious. Big portion size. I had pineapple mimosa and he had the Bloody Mary. Will be back
This was a fantastic spot. We went for dinner but I would highly recommend as a brunch spot. They had a good beer menu. Server was fantastic. Very friendly and loved talking about the food and giving recommendations. During happy hour appetizers are half price. We went with the honey biscuits (which were incredibly delicious), and the gravy fries. The salmon was cooked perfect.
I can't believe it took me this long to finally try this amazing place. I got the Gouda grits bowl with bacon and scrambled egg, and my mom got the breakfast platter. Both were phenomenal. Our server Emily was a gem, and when I asked if they could turn the music down a little, because I didn't feel like it needed to be so loud that we had to raise our voices to talk to each other in a place like that, she cheerfully did so. I also felt like we got a lot of food for the money, compared to restaurant prices in general. I think the grits bacon and egg bowl was only $10 and I couldn't finish it in a single go.
