Crema's Take
“Cortadito transports you to Cuba through vibrant murals and an electric atmosphere while delivering authentically rich, bold espresso drinks that rival specialty coffee anywhere. Their signature cortaditos and cafecitos are smooth and flavorful, perfectly paired with genuine Cuban pastries and sandwiches like pan con lechon that customers describe as almost transcendent. The combination of exceptional coffee craftsmanship, genuine cultural hospitality, and food that honors traditional recipes makes this more than a coffee run—it's a complete sensory experience that keeps people coming back.”

I had such a great experience at Cortadito Coffee. From the second you walk in, you’re surrounded by beautiful murals and artwork their walls really tell the story of Cuba. It feels colorful, alive, and welcoming. They even have authentic Cuban games set up in the front that you can play, which I thought was such a cool touch. With the great music playing in the background. The owner came over and talked with me about how they source their coffee and shared some of his life experiences in Cuba. That personal connection made it feel so much more than just grabbing food, it felt meaningful. It was my first time trying a Cuban sandwich, and I’m not exaggerating when I say it’s now one of my favorite foods! So good. The pineapple pastry was flaky and lightly sweet, and the bombón coffee was smooth and perfectly sweet without being too much. Definitely a spot I’ll be going back to. If you’re in KC, you need to try this place!!!
First time at this place. Love everything we got! We will definitely be back. We ordered the Cafe Bon bon and the Cortadito, guava and cheese pastry, 1 classic cubano and 1 cubano bistec
This place lives up to the hype!! The service, coffee, and food were exceptional. I ordered a cortadito and Pan con Lechon. Cortadito had great flavor and was incredibly smooth. Pan con Lechon is the best sandwich I have had in KC. Highly recommend!!!
Had the cafecito and classic cuban sandwich. Both were hot and fresh and honestly a religious experience. Service was great and friendly (just a great vibe all around inside - and the painted mural inside was beautiful). Definitely did not leave hungry or under caffeinated. Thank you!
Cortadito Cuban Cafe is amazing! As a Turkish coffee lover, I was blown away by how rich and bold their Cuban coffee is. It felt familiar but with its own unique twist. I first spotted them at Lenexa Public Market but didn’t have time for their pastries. So glad they brought this little taste of Cuba to Kansas City! ☕💛
