Layaly Cafe & Hookah lounge
5534 Albemarle Rd, Charlotte, NC
Crema's Take
“Layaal Cafe & Hookah Lounge brings an authentic Middle Eastern escape to Charlotte, where you can sink into couch seating with friends over premium Egyptian hookahs (their custom "Knock Me Down" varieties are legendary) and Turkish coffee that tastes like it traveled straight from Cairo. The warm, genuinely hospitable owner has cultivated a late-night gathering spot with excellent vibes, live music, and traditional pastries like kanafeh that make lingering for hours feel like the whole point.”

Good hookah Lounge to hangout with friends. They got couch seating and tables as well. Can bring ur own deck of cards and play. The cook is good. Got some middle eastern beverages like Turkish coffee etc. overall a good vibe.
Good local Arabic vibe spot to hang out at. 👍👍👍👍🌟🌟🌟🌟 The place is vary clean, which is always a plus. However, coach covers need washing as they are very dirty. 🧹🧹🧹🧹🧽🧽🧽🧽 The option are definitely focused on Hook but there is alot of room for improvement when it comes to the menu, especially for non smokers. 📝📝📝📝 The food was good, Kunfa was warm and fresh 👌👌👌👌💯💯💯💯 Looking forward to many visits 😃
This place is amazing... premium Egyptian hookahs... literally the absolute best ones! They are very tall and they even custom ones which they call “Knock me down” hookahs which are crafted with Pineapples or Grapefruit :) as you can see I got the pineapple version and even the bowl part which they place the tobacco in is a pineapple bowl which you can literally taste as you hit the hookah... if you really wanna come and have a good time bring at least $75minimum to ensure you enjoy the most premium experience... the knock me down hookahs are currently priced at $28.99
Great spot! Very friendly staff and awesome hookah (so many flavors, by the way). I tried kanafeh for the first time and would recommend it to anyone who’s never eaten a traditional Middle Eastern dessert. There’s also live music on Saturdays, which is the best day to really immerse yourself in the culture. I will definitely be returning!
