The Bottega At Frankies

This isn't a place to drop by for a quick lunch while at work and forget about placing an order online. I had placed an order for pickup and even got the confirmation text that it was ready. However, by the time I arrived, they hadn't even started on making it. At first, the person at the register said they were backed up and that was why they hadn't gotten to my order yet, after I saw her print the ticket after I arrived. So, I ended up waiting for 25 minutes at the Bottega. By the time I got my order, she then gave a conflicting explanation that their online ordering system sometimes don't print the tickets out and that I need to call the restaurant to confirm that it went through. If I'm going to call the restaurant, I might as well place the order then and there's no reason to have an online ordering system if that's what customers are expected to do. So, what's the reason? Was it a lunch rush or an issue with their online ordering? I also don't appreciate being lied to. The sandwich is good, but not better than others around town that don't require me to wait an extra 25 minutes after I place an order online.

Stop what you’re doing right now and get yourself here. The Spicy Cap sandwich (only on Tuesdays!) is nothing short of a religious experience. I’m talking life-altering, soul-awakening, taste-bud-redefining levels of delicious. As a born-and-raised New Yorker, I didn’t think anything outside the city could hit this hard—but this place transported me straight back home in the best way imaginable. The food? Perfection. The service? Absolute gold-standard hospitality. The vibe? Pure magic. I walked in curious, and I walked out a forever fan. I’m already plotting my return to try their pizzeria and restaurant across the street—because if one sandwich could literally change the trajectory of my week, imagine what the rest of the menu could do! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Five stars doesn’t even come close. My life is officially better for having eaten here.

If I could rate this place 10 out of 10, 10 times over it still wouldn’t be enough. I stopped by for lunch on Wednesday specifically to get their chopped Caesar salad sandwich. As a sandwich connoisseur I can safely confirm that this is a top three sandwich of my entire life. The bread was lightly salted and made in house. It was absolutely delicious as was the chicken Caesar salad within the sandwich. my only regret is that I didn’t have twice the amount of stomach space to eat two of these sandwiches. I plan to be back every Wednesday that I can to have the sandwich over and over again because it was just that good. They also had incredible olive oil that I tried with their homemade bread. It was also amazing. Highly recommend trying out the Calabrian chili olive oil that they have.

I had an amazing experience here! I was not able to get there before 3 for a sandwich but instead the owner made us some bruschetta to make up for it and the matcha and white chocolate pistachio cookie was amazing! Highly recommend this place.

I had great service today by their team, I tweaked some sandwiches and went with the special they recommended. Full disclosure I haven’t eaten the sandwiches yet (sitting here waiting now!) but they look GREAT! I can tell they’ll be good. I’ll definitely be back when I have more time to shop their market items!
