Crema's Take
“This charming South Salt Lake gem transforms a coffee visit into a creative experience by pairing craft beverages with guided art projects—think collage-making or painting while sipping your drink in soft, intimate lighting surrounded by vintage materials. The space shines as a gathering spot for celebrations and casual hangouts alike, with genuinely kind staff and plenty of room to spread out, though reviewers wish the drink and snack offerings were a bit more elevated to match the venue's artistic ambition. It's the kind of place where you'll find yourself losing track of time whether you're working on your laptop solo or celebrating with 20 of your closest friends.”

I just had a private event at Art Cafe for my best friend’s birthday and it could not have been more perfect! We had 20 people and there was plenty of space for all of us to have snacks, drinks and mingle and sit down and do all of our different crafts of choice! We all ordered different flights but the air dry clay was a favorite among many in our group. Maddie the owner has made the space so beautiful and welcoming and the two gals who worked our event Ocean and Raine were so kind, helpful and fun to have around. Highly recommend going with friends during their regular hours or renting the whole space like we did.
Had such a fun time here! We came for my sister’s birthday and loved it. Great atmosphere and the employees are so so kind. They have little prepackaged snacks and assorted drinks, simple but with all the restaurants near by I think that’s totally fine! Totally suggest for a date night or girls night.
If you’re looking for a cozy spot to have a girls night, or even a solo date, definitely visit the Art Cafe! The concept is so unique and fun. You can choose your “entree” for your craft and they’ll bring all the supplies to your table. They have some snacks and drinks to order separately as well, but I’m hoping in the future they can expand their menu to include coffee or even wine! Overall, this was such a fun spot to spend an evening at & I can’t wait to go back!
We had so much fun at Art Cafe! A cozy little spot to hang with friends and make something. My only note with this place is their snack/drink option. It was sad. I wish they had elevated drinks like tea or coffee and snacks that weren’t prepackaged. Wine would even be fun. Other than that, a fun time!
Created "The Garden Knows Her Name" Collage tonight at @ArtCafe — the most magical little spot on 870 E 900 S, Salt Lake City, UT 84105 Under soft lights and surrounded by vintage paper, this collage unfolded like a story I didn’t know I was ready to tell. Highly recommend! #artcafe #vibes #collageart #dowhatyoulove #2025 #christinascreations #art @mischris007 Instagram 💜🩵💙
